15 nights cruise from Fortt Lauderdale, Florida to Los Angeles, California
April 21 – May 06, 2023
Celebrity's Millennium
Marvel at the engineering wonder of the Panama Canal on stunningly redesigned Celebrity Millennium. Sailing through the engineering masterpiece that connects the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean is a bucket-list event on its own, but along the way you’ll also visit other exciting tropical destinations steeped in culture, history, and natural beauty. Explore the breathtaking beaches of Puerto Vallarta, the colorful colonial architecture of Cartagena, the thriving jungles of Costa Rica, and more.
On your Panama Canal cruise, venture deep into the Panamanian rain forest, meet the locals, and learn the inner workings of the fascinating Panama Canal’s locks. Take an Eco Cruise on Lake Gatun and explore island habitats created during the Canal’s building. Uncover legends of pirates and conquistadors among the ruins of Panama Viejo.
Cruise through the Panama Canal
Adventure Hike up to an active volcano. Raft one of the many rivers. Scuba dive in its beautiful seas, or zip along a cable through the rainforest tree tops. There are so many adventure sports such as kayaking, rafting, rappelling, and horseback riding.
History
Casco Viejo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers streets lined with old architecture plus modern amenities like restaurants and shops. The best historical structures are the churches, including the Catedral de Nuestra Senora de la Asuncion, dating from 1619, and the Iglesia de San Jose, noted for its vaulted side chapels and golden altar.
Natural Beauty
Central America has breathtaking natural areas, perfect for spotting wildlife or hitting the trails. In fact, more than 25% of Costa Rica is protected land or national parks. With more than 900 species of birds in this region, bird watchers can be sure to check the Resplendent Quetzal off their list.
Panama Canal (Cruising)
This wonder of engineering, first conceived and built over 100 years ago, has changed the shipping and tourism industries. It has brought us all closer and made the world simpler to navigate by allowing an easier flow of goods and people.
Cartagena, Colombia
Founded as an important Spanish port in 1533, the Old Town of Cartagena de Indias—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—remains largely intact behind high stone walls that peer out over the Caribbean. Truly, one of the world’s most beautiful cities.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Puerto Vallarta maintains a small-town atmosphere, while still boasting one of the most unique and sophisticated ocean fronts in Mexico. The calm, warm waters of the Bay of Banderas make for excellent diving, or you can just watch artists sculpt spectacular creations in the sand. The fine art galleries in El Centro are perfect spots to explore local art.
Every detail has been elevated, every comfort refined.
Celebrity Millennium takes you to some of the most incredible destinations on the globe, so it’s only fitting that she offers some of the best experiences at sea, too.
By night, head to the Martini Bar to enjoy a classic cocktail upon a real ice bar, while you watch the bartenders put on a high-energy show every night. The sophisticated atmosphere at Cellar Masters provides a more intimate venue – recline in deep leather seats and enjoy a menu of the finest beers, wines and more.
And now Celebrity Millennium has been modernised as part of The Celebrity Revolution - a $500-million investment to take all of Celebrity Cruises ships to the edge. Stay in brand new staterooms, enjoy beautifully reimagined restaurants and lounges, and relax in the newly redesigned spa. For our Suite Class guests, we now also have The Retreat Sundeck and The Retreat Lounge in addition to our Suite Class restaurant Luminae. Discover all of this and more onboard Celebrity Millennium.
Celebrity Millennium is like the pinnacle of a tall mountain – breathtakingly amazing. It is the best way to travel the world in style and enjoy an incredible cruise: the amenities that Celebrity features in its exceptional ships, combined with extremely personal service, means that you can cruise guilt-free, knowing that you'll be taken care of in every way possible. Luxury, class, and accommodation - these three words describe a trip on Celebrity Millennium perfectly.
Activities on Celebrity Millennium
Onboard Celebrity Millennium, you know you are in for a treat. Wander around the ship and take in the amazing décor, combined with the perfect scenery around it. The Conservatory is a beautiful garden full of lush plant life, designed by Emilio Robba. The ship has a library where you can go to enjoy some quiet time and a good book.
Go to one of the Internet stations at the Internet Café and share your cruise experience with everyone back home - even while at sea. Relax poolside and soak in the sun, or pamper yourself for the day at the AquaSpa. There is even a fitness center with a gym so you can work out as much as you want to.
Dining / Food on Celebrity Millennium Celebrity Millennium will tantalize your taste buds. Get ready for excellent cuisine. If you choose the regular dining options, you will enjoy a full menu of your favorite foods, all served in a stylish, posh setting.
Head over to the RMS Olympic Restaurant, where you will dine in a setting reminiscent of a bygone era - think Titanic. There are so many great options to choose from, and all are delicious. Do not forget - there is even 24-hour room service, where you can select items from the dinner menu.
Entertainment on Celebrity Millennium
Get ready for an amazing night on Celebrity Millennium. Celebrity Cruise line provides endless opportunities for fun - even at night. Check out the casino, and try your luck at your favorite Vegas-style card games and slots. Head over to the nightclub and dance the night away to the best popular music.
If you would like something a little more low-key, head over to the theater, where they show movies and have live Broadway-style performances. Have a drink and enjoy some great conversation at one of the themed bars and lounges, or listen to the wonderful sounds of a baby grand piano at the piano bar.
