A stylish and metrosexual nightclub, in a basement on the corner of the Avenida de Tirajana in Playa del Inglés near the Centro Comercial CITA.
Velvet has three dancefloors and plenty of comfortable space to sit and people-watch. It's mixed, but more than gay-friendly and plans to hold specific gay nights.
However, it's very new, and the jury is still out as to whether it will become a top destination for visitors and people from Las Palmas looking for a more elegant gay or mixed night out in Playa del Inglés.
