Head to Faro, the LGBT-friendly gem of the Algarve, in southern Portugal. A lively, welcoming, and open-minded city, it offers an idyllic setting between ocean, culture, and party. At this time, the weather is perfect: sunny days, a still mild sea, and magical evenings.
The European Summer Pride is a unique experience combining vacation, party, sport, culture and pride in a heavenly setting. Join us to experience the very first edition of an exceptional international event between sun, diversity and freedom.
The capital of the Algarve, Faro is a city where culture, relaxation and conviviality go hand in hand. Its walled historic center, cobbled streets, lively terraces and palm-fringed marina make it a charming destination.
Faro is also an LGBT+ friendly city, known for its open, tolerant atmosphere and warm welcome. Bars, cafés and inclusive establishments welcome visitors from all over the world in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.
Faro boasts a modern international airport, located just a few kilometers from the city center. It is served by numerous direct connections from major European and North American cities, making access quick and easy for participants from all over Europe and the world.
Numerous shuttles, cabs and buses link the airport directly to the city center and accommodation, so you can arrive with complete peace of mind and start your stay without any hassle.
Day 1 - Saturday, September 26, 2026
• Private transfer from Faro International Airport (FAO), also known as Algarve Airport, to your hotel in Faro.
• The Algarve, and especially Faro, combine natural wonders, heritage, gastronomy and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect backdrop for European Summer Pride, with its mix of sun, culture, idleness, parties and freedom.
• Accommodation at your LGBTQ+ Friendly Hotel.
• Upon arrival, pick up your Event Pass. Event Pass grants access to most of the activities, entertainment, and official parties scheduled throughout the week.
• European Summer Pride brings together participants from around the world for a week to celebrate diversity, pride, and freedom in an exceptional setting: the city of Faro and the beaches of the Ria Formosa.
• In the evening, join the Welcome Cocktail at LAB Terrace with DJ Alex Valentine (17h - 21h).
• On Saturday, the day of arrival, from 5pm to 9pm, on the rooftop of the Lab bar, we welcome you with a complimentary welcome cocktail, before moving on to the first evening of the week.
• Dinner on your own.
• Continue the night at the official Welcome Party at Art Haus Club with DJ Loryak (from 22h to 05h). • Overnight at your hotel.

Day 2 - Sunday, September 27, 2026
• Buffet breakfast at your hotel.
• Escape Game (10h - 12h). For your first day, we suggest you discover the city and find your way around in several groups in a fun way through an Escape Game managed by Escape Game Faro. Adventure and mystery await you in the historic streets of Faro’s old town. Embark on a journey filled with challenges, riddles and charades. The fate of the city is in your hands! 60 minutes of pure pleasure!
• Taxi-boat shuttle to the beach. Your Event Pas gives you access to the ferry service connecting Faro to its beach across the Ria Formosa lagoon (one round trip per day, Sunday through Friday). A convenient, quick, and refreshing way to get to the beach areas reserved for ESP participants. (25-minute trip).
• Lunch on your own.
• After Beach at LAB Terrace with DJ Kamille Louis.
• Fado dinner – Portuguese evening (19h30 - 23h). An authentic cultural experience: a traditional dinner with traditional Fado music. An evening full of emotion, music and local flavors.
• Karaoke Night (19h30 - 23h). The week’s fun and laid-back event at Quinta Adega: lively karaoke night where anyone can grab the mic.
• Later, enjoy Pirate Club Night at Baixa Ria with Dj Alex Valentine (22h to 3h).

Day 3 - Monday, September 28, 2026
• Buffet breakfast at your hotel.
• 7 hanging valleys hike (Optional) (9h - 15h). Europe's most spectacular hike. Hosted by Bruno from "La randonnée de Bruno", plunge into the heart of the wild Algarve and enjoy an unforgettable experience on the 7 Suspended Valleys trail. Considered one of the most beautiful coastal hikes in the world, this cliff-side route offers breathtaking panoramas and total immersion in nature's exceptional beauty.

• Passadiço do Barranco do Demo hike (Optional) (9h - 15h). Hosted by Bruno from "la rando de Bruno", experience a Suspended Adventure in the heart of the wild Algarve. Immerse yourself in the authentic Algarve and enjoy a dizzying, unforgettable experience on the Passadiço Barranco do Demo. Located in the municipality of Aljezur, this unique course invites you to explore a deep, spectacular valley, accessible only by wooden walkways and a daring suspension bridge.

It's one of the highlights of the week you won't want to miss! The São Pedro Fusion restaurant welcomes you to a gourmet dinner and cabaret specially created for European Summer Pride. An experience combining haute cuisine, entertainment and conviviality.
• Clubbing Night at Baixa Ria with Dj Kamille Louis (22h - 3h).

Day 5 - Wednesday, September 30, 2026
• Buffet breakfast at your hotel.
• Dolphins and marine life excursion (8h30 - 11h). Boat trip in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean with dolphins, sea turtles and seabirds, far from the usual tourist spots. This boat trip in the Algarve is the ideal way to discover the diversity of marine life in our region while observing free-living animals in their natural habitat. This immersive experience to share with friends takes place aboard the Albacora III, a comfortable and safe RIB.

Day 7 - Friday, October 02, 2026
• Buffet breakfast at your hotel.
• Boat trip – Ria Formosa and its islands (10h - 16h). Discover one of Portugal’s most beautiful natural treasures: the Ria Formosa at Faro. This 6-hour boat trip takes you through lagoons, canals, the islands of Deserta, Farol, Culatra and Armona and their secluded beaches where you can take a stroll. You’ll observe the local wildlife, explore traditional villages and enjoy a moment of timeless relaxation. An ideal way to finish your European Summer Pride in the calm and natural beauty of the Algarve.
