Mediterranean Gay Group Cruise 2026
7 nights from/to Barcelona, Spain
October 6 13, 2026
Costa Cruises Costa Pacifica
Join us on Western Mediterranean European gay group cruise on board of the stylish Costa Cruises Costa Pacifica . We will set sail from gay friendly Barcelona to beautiful ports in Tunisia, Italy & France. From the High Renaissance to high fashion and from a fascinating heritage to fantastically chic beaches, the Mediterranean has it all. Enjoy the very best that Europe has to offer on our European Mediterranean gay group cruise with our private gay parties, events and gay group tours.
Stand in awe before Spanish landmarks, Sicilian landscapes, and French icons that echo the history-changing moments that once happened there. Climb up inside the spires of Gaudí's Sagrada Familia Cathedral in Barcelona, whisper in awe in the Sistine Chapel, and discover Africa coast in Tunisia. Explore the Western Mediterranean cities where myth and history converge on your next vacation.
With its fast-paced cities, laid-back islands and passion for football, fashion, food and wine, Spain is a truly fascinating country. In buzzing Barcelona you can marvel at Gaudi's inspiring architecture or feast on delicious tapas in a shaded pavement café; explore the city's many churches and cathedrals or hit the shops for a shot of Catalan style.
Italy is home to one of the world's most historical and spiritual sites, a universally adored cuisine and a passionate nation. In ancient Rome you can gaze at Michelangelo's magnificent Sistine Chapel ceiling or explore the Colosseum where gladiators once fought. Enjoy the best of Italy's cuisine, and wash it down with some tasty wine from a nearby vineyard, or follow it up with a delicious gelato (ice cream)
Experience the remarkable legacy of the ancient empires of the Mediterranean—set amid unmatched natural beauty. Explore the celebrated South of France, where Roman ruins and vibrant landscapes have inspired countless artists. Take in views of the Mediterranean’s turquoise waters and soft sand beaches, discover time-honored winemaking traditions, sample traditional food and more. The Mediterranean’s temperate weather makes it a wonderful year-round destination for a cruise, but experienced travelers know that the "quiet season" — which spans from fall to spring—provides a unique opportunity to visit France, Spain, Italy, Tunisia and beyond when fewer crowds mean a more leisurely atmosphere.

All the decks bear the name of a famous musician, and all the décor is a perfect mix of lights and colors. Music is the theme that runs through everything on board. Enjoy a musical or an exciting theater show in the evening. Use the slides to plunge into the pools and then relax with an aperitif at sunset overlooking the sea. It will be music to your ears!

Day 1 - Barcelona, Spain
In Barcelona, you’ll find stunning architecture, delectable cuisine, and vibrant cultural experiences at every turn. Get to know Barcelona’s many distinct neighborhoods, including the Old Town or Ciutat Vella, where you’ll find museums, cafes, and shopping. Venture to the Gothic Quarter, or Barri Gotic, and stroll through its narrow streets, where you’ll see the best of Barcelona’s Gothic architecture, mystical corridors, and old city cafes. Barcelona has a vibrant gay scene with numerous bars, cruise clubs, saunas, nightclubs and regular large-scale dance parties. Most of Barcelona’s gay bar & clubs are within the "Gaixample" district. This is a three-block area north of Gran Via Del Les Corts Catalanes between Urgil and Universitat metro stations.
Day 2 - Balearic Sea Darkest Spot
Coordinates: 40.8 N - 002.4 E, It’s night, and the ship reaches the darkest point of the Balearic Sea — one of the rarest places in the entire Mediterranean where the sky remains crystal clear: no artificial lights, no visible coastline, just sea and stars. All the ship’s lights are turned off. No reflections. No noise. Only the sky, the true protagonist. With an introduction by the captain and the Stellarium app, guests can navigate among constellations, planets, and galaxies. An experience possible only while sailing, only at that precise point in the sea.
Day 3 - Tunis (La Goulette), Tunisia
La Goulette is the outer harbour of Tunis, capital of Tunisia. It was home to a populous Italian community, whose most famous daughter is the actress Claudia Cardinale. Whitewashed buildings have welcomed seafarers to Tunis, gateway to North Africa, since time immemorial. Elegant mosaics carved wooden doorways and intricately tiled courtyards lurk around every corner of the ancient medina (old town), a warren of labyrinthine souks, white-domed mosques and beautiful madrassas (Islamic schools) with their iconic black and white archways and cool arcades.
Day 4 - Palermo, Sicily (Italy)
Sicily is one of Italy’s most romantic destinations. It evokes summertime sun, gorgeous piazzas, and the clinking of glasses in celebration. On a Palermo cruise, you’ll tour both city and sea, whether you’re strolling around the Foro Italico or staring up at the architectural marvels of the Piazza Vigliena. You’ll take a dip in the Adriatic Sea at Mondello Beach, and admire the gardens of the 9th century Norman Palace up close.
Day 5 - Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy
Civitavecchia, a former Etruscan port, is the seaport for Rome. And what about it? Everything here reflects the glorious power of a people who ruled the world. Extraordinary architecture, millennia of turbulent history, magnificent basilicas concealing unimaginable riches, and ornate fountains splashing at the heart of sun-drenched piazzas are just some of the many reasons to visit Rome. Art greets you on every corner, from elaborate statues to delicate frescoes.
Day 6 - Savona (Genoa), Italy
Above the port of Savona, the Priamar Fortress greets every departure and arrival of the Costa ships sailing in the Mediterranean. Genoa and its aquarium are nearby. You’ll be transported to another time here. Genoa is famous for its many palaces; over 100 palazzi date back hundreds of years to the days of the Republic of Genoa. Explore the winding cobblestone streets on foot, stop for an aperitivo, and enjoy a long lunch. Liguria itself is the birthplace of many Italian culinary traditions, including the often-imitated focaccia style of bread, and always delicious pesto genovese.
Day 7 - Marseilles, France
Marseille is the kind of French town that has the same amount of charm as Paris, despite being less popular among the traveling crowd. With new arts districts, rejuvenated neighborhoods, and inventive museums popping up left and right, you could say Marseille is having its very own moment. Of course, it wouldn’t be a trip to the region of Provence without experiencing high-quality French food, baked goods like fresh croissants and pastries, strong red wine, and a culture highly tuned into enjoying the moment.
Day 8 - Barcelona, Spain
Barcelona's nightlife: among the "ramblas" we will discover great food and beer, but we are always under the watchful eye of Gaudi, who captured and expressed the soul of Barcelona in his architecture.
Just 40 minutes from Barcelona by train, Sitges is often considered to be Europe's gayest town. Sitges is very much geared towards gay tourism, and you’ll find a bounty of gay clubs, bars and adults-only hotels. Combining Barcelona and Sitges is one of the most popular twin-center itineraries for gay travelers, and offers the perfect blend of high-brow cultural stimulation and shameless gay fun.
