Day 1 - Athens (Piraeus), Greece
Piraeus Port is Greece's largest seaport, serving as Athens' vital maritime gateway to the Aegean Sea. Explore the harbors of Piraeus, which showcase the Golden Age of Greek history. Visit the Hellenic Maritime Museum and the ship sheds — here, you can see how ancient ships were crafted. In the charming Castella district, you'll find some small, quaint shops and cafes amid the elegant neoclassical buildings. Head to Sotiros Street to find brand name stores, alongside smaller local shops.
Your ship departs promptly at 5:00 pm, so plan to arrive at least 2-3 hours early to account for checking in and boarding protocols. During this time, many of the ship's amenities are open and operating, so feel free to start your vacation early.
Day 2 - Fun Day at Sea!
Our first full day is at sea. Relax, unwind and get into vacation mode. Lounge on your private balcony or near one of the pools, or maybe even find a quiet nook to settle in with a book. Want to be more active on your day at sea? Play bingo, work out at the gym, watch a movie, dance all night, attend a cooking seminar, soak in a hot tub, watch a sunset (or a sunrise), play trivia games, sing along at the piano bar, do some wine tasting, check your email or surf the internet, grab a snack, watch live entertainment, get lucky in the casino, indulge in a spa treatment, catch the game in the sports bar, and on and on...
Day 3 - Limassol, Cyprus
Limassol's new marina sits between the old and new ports, and the entire area is ripe for exploration. Head up to the 14th century Kolossi Castle and museum on a journey that will take you through the historic heart of the city. Then wander over to the zoo or the impressive archaeological remains on Cyprus, that dates back to the Romans. Limassol has plenty of sandy and rocky beaches within easy reach, including the main beach: Akti Olympion. Among the many churches you'll find in Limassol, the Agia Napa Church located in the center is the one to visit.
Day 4 - Alexandria, Egypt
Cruise to Alexandria, Egypt, come with an unparalleled introduction to ancient sights. As soon as you arrive in this storied city, you'll want to make a beeline for one of its many museums. The Antiquities Museum is a great first stop to get a better sense of the city's history and status within the ancient world. It's also located at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a modern reimagining of the lost and legendary Library of Alexandria.
Day 5 - Alexandria, Egypt If you want to keep the history crawl going strong, stop by the Alexandria National Museum to immerse yourself in the world of Egyptian Pharaohs, the Greek and Roman era, and the Muslim conquest. Or, enjoy a taste of semi-modern-day Alexandria with a visit to the beautiful Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque, which dates back to the 18th century. Then, tour the gorgeous 19th-century gardens at the Montaza Palace. It's hands-down one of the best things to do in Alexandria, Egypt.
Day 6 - Fun Day at Sea!
While at sea, take the time to recharge before the next adventure. Lounge by the pool, be spoiled at the spa, taste the delicacies or explore the venues on-board, until we arrive at the next amazing destination.
Day 7 - Santorini, Greece
Santorini is one of the world’s most popular islands, where adventure bubbles above the Aegean Sea in breathtaking ways. Take a cable car to see Fira’s old cathedrals and enthralling museums. Swim in deep blue waters that lap black pebbled beaches. And peel back layers of history in excavated Akrotiri— all while relishing the dramatic scenery of this Cyclades isle. Wear hiking boots or comfortable sneakers and plenty of sunscreen when hiking the caldera. Don’t be in a rush— dining in Greece is a laid-back, drawn-out affair.
Day 8 - Athens (Piraeus), Greece
Athens is a great city to discover. It can claim to be, in no small part, the birthplace of western civilisation. You'll see great monuments from Ancient Greece, chiefly the Parthenon. This temple complex looms over the city, the greatest architectural relic of Greece's Golden Age. A great city for gay travelers, you'll find many excellent gay bars and gay clubs in Athens. It also has a celebrated culinary scene. Athens is more than a relic from antiquity. The modern city has so much to offer.
