This French Riviera & Spanish sojourn departs from Barcelona arriving the next day in Nice, followed by Toulon and a day at sea sailing the pinnacle of Mediterranean vibes – Valencia, Spain. From there, you’ll head to Ibiza to spend the day soaking up the sun and swimming in the vibrant ocean waters, and spend the night dancing the night away under the stars before returning to Barcelona the next day.

Ibiza is a fairly small island but it’s one of the most popular gay travel destinations in Europe. If you're looking for soft sand beaches and great nightlife then Ibiza is definitely for you. The Mediterranean gem is a luscious island with a big reputation for a club and party scene like no other. Famous for its beautiful villas, the island’s beautiful hidden coves, ancient villages, and some of Europe’s most stunning holiday villas which dot the landscape throughout the north of the island.

Feeling a little more active? The Athletic Club is the spot to head to, with the world’s largest daybed (they never do anything by halves onboard the Resilient Lady) to relax on when you need a breather from all that chilling out.
At night, the stars emerge with the glitz and glamour of The Manor nightclub. This dazzling club tips a nod to Richard Branson, charting his history in the music industry, and then celebrating that heritage by banging out some insane tunes until the small hours. If you want a break from the beat, head out on deck where you can gaze out at the ocean while a billion stars shine. This is the stuff memories are made of (oops, looks like another trip to Squid Ink, then…).
Fuelling up on Food
No luxury ship is complete without food, food, and more food, and the Resilient Lady doesn’t short-change you when it comes to chowing down. There’s over 20 choices of meals whenever you’re peckish – there’s no set menus or enforced meal times here. Whether you want a healthy snack at 6am or a midnight feast, the crew will cater for you.
First up, there’s Razzle Dazzle, where you’ll discover your inner vegan. Or, try the gloriously opulent Pink Algarve, serving Mexican fusion with all the trimmings.
And wait, what’s this? Street food onboard a ship? At the Resilient Lady’s Galley, you’ll find eight different food stalls selling everything from tacos to sushi, burgers to bento boxes and noodles. You may be cruising the Med, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the world can’t join in.
Wellness and Zen Time on your Adult Voyage
There’s a concept at Virgin Voyages – Vitamin Sea. There’s nothing quite like the ocean to restore that inner wellness we all crave, so onboard you’ll get the time to re-energise with some state-of-the-art activities in the Crow’s Nest.
You can detox with sunrise or sunset yoga classes, or retox with a few rounds in the boxing ring. The B-Complex gym space gets your heart pumping with some serious cardio, or go for some zen time in Redemption, the Resilient Lady’s onboard spa.

Just keep levelling up with an on-board party at the Manor, the Resilient Lady’s exclusive nightclub. Slumber at Sea in Luxury Cabins
Time for some snoozing, and Virgin Voyages have made sure that the cabins maintain that gloriously indulgent luxury you’ll find all over the Resilient Lady. Tom Dixon’s had a hand here too, designing the RockStar suites with flair and individuality, but with absolutely no compromise on comfort. All of the RockStar suites are on Deck 15, just under Richard’s Rooftop (RockStar VIPs get exclusive access to the club).

Day 1 - Barcelona, Spain
More than just a late-night party town, the capital of Catalonia is full of tranquil, museum-lined mornings and afternoons sipping cava with gorgeous views of the Med. With its laid-back attitude, fresh-from-the-sea cuisine, and thriving art scene, Barcelona is the envy of every other Mediterranean city. No other stop on the Mediterranean oozes culture like Barcelona. Thanks to the famous Antoni Gaudí’s avant-garde architecture and influence, Barcelona boasts nine UNESCO World Heritage sites for visitors to marvel at. The Catalonian capital attracts bohemians, nomads and separatists seeking independence.
Day 2 - Cannes, France
An iconic and stunning resort destination in the French Riviera, Cannes' unparalleled natural beauty rivals the A-list celebrities who vacation here. Famed for its annual star-studded international film festival, posh sunlounger-striped beaches, and massive yachts moored at the port, Cannes is one of the most glamorous cities in the French Riviera. A stroll down La Croisette, the town's long beach promenade, will lead you to numerous designer bars, couture stores, and fabulous hotels nestled in stunning old palaces.
Day 3 - Provence (Toulon), France
Originally a fishermen’s village, Toulon is France’s second-largest naval port and a gateway to charming towns in Provence. Toulon’s deep naval history put it on the map, but its provencal market, new art scene, and sandy beaches make it a true hidden gem of the region. Sitting between Marseille and St. Tropez, Toulon is the ideal port to fulfill all of your French Riviera fantasies.
Day 4 - Fun Day at Sea!
While at sea, take the time to recharge before the next adventure. Lounge by the pool, be spoiled at the spa, taste the delicacies or explore the venues on-board, until we arrive at the next amazing destination.
Day 5 - Valencia, Spain
With a classic old town that looks like something out of a true romantic’s daydreams with a modern cultural and artistic edge, Valencia truly encompasses everything that the Mediterranean is about. Known for its fantastical facades, commitment to maintaining its old world beauty and prime location to city locations and outdoor adventures, the Old Town of Valencia is quintessentially European in all the best ways. With winding lanes featuring a perfectly paired mix of Gothic and Baroque architecture, countless impressive eateries and limitless picturesque landmarks it’s easy to get intentionally lost here.
Day 6 - Ibiza, Spain
Beach all day. Party all night. Whether you're visiting Ibiza for its sun-soaked days or wild nightclubs, you're in for a treat. Thanks to its iconic nightclubs and star-studded DJ sets, Ibiza earned its reputation as the party capital of the world. So, Ibiza’s true beach-bum personality and quiet seaside streets might surprise you. Day 7 - Ibiza, Spain
In Ibiza, you’ll conquer clubs both day and night. Immerse yourself in Ibiza’s dance culture, plus VIP access to sophisticated nightclubs with showstopping DJ lineups. Then, wake up (or stay up) to detox in a prime beach club for a day of sun and much-needed relaxation. Wander through the island’s hippie markets where you’ll find colorful woven goods hanging from stalls or head south to Formentera (Ibiza’s smaller sister island) to explore sparsely inhabited salt plains and sand dunes. Explore the Catalan capital's tourist attractions and historic neighborhoods, Modernisme and world-renowned art museums, galleries and local crafts shops—some of which are centuries old and stock traditional Catalan wares. After you see the sights, there are lively tapas bars around every corner where you can stop for a drink, a café amb llet (Catalan for espresso with steamed milk) or a snack, no matter the hour.
