Princess Cruises Discovery Princess
Beachside cities and historical towns await you on this Mexican Riviera cruise. We depart from Los Angeles, then explore the natural playgrounds of Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. This amazing itinerary will have us in Cabo for Halloween, and Puerto Vallarta for Day of the Dead - where we will have some of our favorite private excursions that will include everything from walking food tours to private pool parties!
Beachside cities and historical towns await you on Princess top-rated Mexican Riviera cruise. Cruise to Mexico from Los Angeles and have time to relax at sea plus experience adventure. Shop along Puerto Vallarta’s beachside boardwalk, the Malecon. Learn to make ceviche from a renowned chef in Mazatlan, or sunbathe on Lover’s Beach in Cabo. Experience Mexico as it was meant to be, only with Princess.
Located at the tip of the Baja Peninsula, Cabo is surrounded by clear waters and sun-kissed beaches. As one of the world’s premier resort destinations, it’s the perfect place to relax, recharge and reawaken your passion for adventure. On a Mexico cruise, tour Todos Santos and enjoy lunch at the Hotel California. Or sail on a catamaran to Lover’s Beach, and snap a photo in front of El Arco on your way.
Between its beaches, aquatic parks and vibrant art scene, Puerto Vallarta’s varied landscapes offer adventures for all. On a Mexico cruise, wander through the city’s galleries, and sample tequila alongside handmade tortillas and salsa. Or stroll along the seafront Malecon boardwalk – the city’s premier shopping destination — where mementos, margaritas and Mexican buffets await.
We invite you to experience an Alaska cruise vacation as only Princess can show you. One word is all you need to describe Alaska. Breathtaking! Being part of our gay group we will have private cocktail parties and events to bring us together as one happy family. By the end of the week you will have made many new friends.
Your Ship - brand new Discovery Princess
Discovery Princess, Princess Cruises third vessel designed from the ground up with Princess MedallionClass and the final Royal-class ship, will continue to deliver an array of innovative new experiences. Enjoy 270-degree sweeping views from the largest balconies at sea, unwind in ultimate comfort at The Sanctuary, and indulge your senses with world-class dining options from Michelin-star chefs. Plus, Princess Live Entertainment presents spectacular new productions that can only be seen in our state-of-the-art Princess Theater.
Debuting in 2022 the Discovery Princess offers space for up to 3,660 passengers. With a length of 330m she is one the largest cruise ships in the world. Thanks to Princess Cruises' "Big Ship - Small Ship Feel" concept guests nevertheless enjoy a feeling of intimacy on board. A special feature on the Discovery Princess is the "SeaWalk" - a glass-paneled walkway extending several meters beyond the edge of the ship.
On the Discovery Princess you will enjoy all amenities of a large and modern ocean liner, but at the same time get the intimate feeling of much smaller ships. Many small bars, lounges and public areas are one reason - the crew's individual and discreet service is another. Though most guests are English native speakers the travellers come from all over the world and create an international and classy atmosphere. This is reflected in the dress code: casual during the day and elegant in the evenings.
All staterooms are spacious, comfortably equipped and provide enough storage room for your luggage. Staterooms have a minimum size of 16m². Most of the cabins on board feature a private balcony.
Gourmets will be delighted by the excellent food on board Discovery Princess. No matter if you dine in the included buffet and à la carte restaurants or in one of the specialty restaurants - quality and taste have a superior level. Guests may choose between the traditional early and late dining with assigned tables or "anytime dining", where you are free to dine whenever it suites you best.
Princess Cruises is famous for their "movies under the stars" where the pool deck turns into a romantic cinema. Daily shows are entertaining the audience in the evening, the Casino invites all who love to play and several lounges and bars are ideal places to socialize. On the other hand the Regal Princess offers wonderful places to relax and enjoy calmness. The large Spa area is the perfect place to revitalize yourself. For all those who enjoy sports the fitness center, a jogging track, the court for volleyball, basketball and tennis are some of the places to be.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Cabo San Lucas offers a perfect combination of great weather and spectacular scenery. Los Cabos is located on the tip of the 800-mile long Baja California Peninsula, with the Sea of Cortez on one shore and the Pacific Ocean on the other.
Cabo, with its large marina and the beautiful San Lucas Bay where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, is famous for its casual atmosphere and exciting nightlife. A longtime favorite for sport fishing and those out to land the big one, Cabo also has great beaches, lots of shopping and restaurants, and a variety of all-inclusive hotels and resorts for any budget. Cabo San Lucas is also known for its famous stone arch, called El Arco (The Arch), a magnificent natural rock formation at Land’s End. You’ll be surrounded by extraordinary natural beauty and top-notch attractions and activities.
Beaches of golden sand, deep blue seas, an infinite wealth of marine and natural fauna await for you in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, also known as La Perla del Pacífico (The Pearl of The Pacific Ocean). During your visit, walk through the Historical Center, a site that will take you on a journey back in time through its unique architectural landscapes on a beach site, a legacy of the mining activity that took place near the port. Be amazed at the neoclassical, baroque and eclectic styles of this area; some of them are considered part of their Cultural Heritage of Humanity... or just enjoy the sun from the beaches of the Golden Zone.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Puerto Vallarta has been named 'The Friendliest City in the World' by Travel + Leisure magazine. Be welcomed into a picturesque authenticity of Mexican culture that has transcended borders, alive on its streets and architecture, its gastronomy and traditions, and on the warmth of its people. We have a special relationship with PV, and being here on Day of the Dead offers you memories to last a lifetime (in addition to our very popular private excursions!). The LGBT-friendly Zona Romantica is home to many of the best eateries, shops and sites - including the local bear community. Puerto Vallartas's coasts are embraced by the Sierra Madre Mountains and sprinkled with beaches, islands and coves, with stunning landscapes contrasting between the sea and the mountain. Step into its tropical forests and admire its fauna whilst you embark into adrenaline-filled adventures, practice your favorite water sport and discover the rich marine life that inhabits the depths of the Pacific.
