Asia Gay Daddy Cruise 2025 From Singapore to Hong Kong
15 nights from Singapore (Singapore) to Hong Kong (China)
February 01 16, 2025
Holland America Line Noordam
Come join our intimate and super-friendly gay group of Daddies, gay men, bears, admirers and friends for a special 15-night cruise from Singapore to the Southeast Asia - Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam & Hong Kong, aboard the Holland America Line's Noordam. Tour Thailand’s magnificent temples and palaces, see Vietnam’s karst cliffs and powdery beaches, and experience electric nightlife with a stay in Bangkok (Laem Chabang).
Bustling modern cities. Mysterious ancient temples. Mist-shrouded mountains. You’ll discover it all and more on our Asia Gay Daddy cruise. Allow us to introduce you to a rich land defined by contrasts. A study in contrasts, Asia balances ancient glory and leading-edge innovation in a region that encompasses a rich mélange of cultures.
During your cruise to Asia, you’ll walk in the footsteps of emperors as you explore the palaces and temples they commissioned, and marvel at engineering feats from grand canals to immense fortifications. When you visit some of the world's most exciting cities, you’ll be quickly and joyfully immersed in the buzz of cosmopolitan energy. Sample amazing new flavors in the street markets of Bangkok.
A medley of sights, tastes and colours awaits you in Singapore. The food’s legendary: you’ll detect Chinese, Malay and Indian influences. Work it off walking through the Botanic Gardens.
Located on the edge of the Mekong Delta, dynamic Ho Chi Minh City metropolis showcases the ageless beauty of an ancient culture. The History Museum houses artefacts from two thousand years of Vietnamese history.
The Nguyen Dynasty founded Hue, former capital, in the 17th century on the banks of the Perfume River. Today, it is a massive open-air museum of temples, pagodas and palaces. Nha Trang city is indisputably beautiful. Bordered by mountains, the beach traces a long swoop along a bay dotted with islands. Topiary and modern sculptures punctuate the immaculately manicured foreshore.
Your Ship - Holland America Line Noordam
The mid-sized Noordam will be a perfect vessel to take us from exciting Singapore, to even more exciting Hong Kong! Cruise Critic says the Noordam strikes a nice balance between classic and contemporary. There are lots of nooks for conversation and quiet diversions like backgammon or settling back with a good book. The smaller ship has an intimate feel. Onboard programming skews toward the educational and cultural—perfect for your first trip to Southeast Asia.
Unlike most modern ships, the Noordam has a lot of classic touches including a full walk-round exterior teak promenade. Exterior glass elevators provide fantastic sea views from any of the 10 decks. One of the two swimming pools has a retractable roof in case of inclement weather. Berlitz Cruise Guide likes the "dramatic" show lounge that spans 4 decks, and the friendly service in the dining room.
Named for the Northern compass point, Noordam dazzles with museum-quality art and lavish staterooms. Guests of this Vista Class ship will have their pick of onboard activities. Sing along to your favorite hits at Billboard Onboard. Enjoy a Pilates class at the Fitness Center. Or savor the delights of one of our specialty restaurants. The Pinnacle Grill serves the juiciest steak at sea and Canaletto beckons with tantalizing Italian dishes.
Activities on Noordam
Noordam offers amazing amenities and activities. The Greenhouse Spa and Salon is the perfect place to pamper yourself. You can enjoy a hot stone massage, a facial, or get a manicure. Work up a sweat at the fitness center, or relax poolside and soak in the sun. There's an Internet café where you can check your email or send home pictures from your vacation. Club HAL is dedicated to the ship's youngest guests, The Loft is exclusively a teen zone.
Dining / Food on Noordam
Enjoy a fine meal on Noordam, and the experience is well worth repeating. The Vista Dining Room provides only the best service and pairs an extensive wine list with a five-course meal. Menus range from continental cuisine to vegetarian and low-carb. The Lido Restaurant is a more relaxed option for any meal of the day, and features cooked-to-order specialties. The Pinnacle Grill is an amazing steakhouse with premium beef and seafood dishes. Enjoy a coffee at the Explorations Café, or a more casual meal at the eateries located poolside and on various decks. The ship also has complimentary room service, and its available 24-hours a day.
Entertainment on Noordam
After the sun goes down, the nightlife on Noordam is a very chic experience. With a grand variety of entertainment options, you are sure to enjoy yourself every evening. Start the night at the Vista Show Lounge, which features live performances by vocalists, comedians, variety acts, dancers and even illusionists. The Crow's Nest is a great nightspot, unrivalled as a nightclub to dance the night away to terrific dance music. For a more relaxed evening, gather your friends and head over to one of the bars and lounges on board for a cocktail.

Day 1- Singapore, Singapore
The fun begins the moment you board the Noordam - which has been designed from bow to stern for your fun and enjoyment. As we sail out of Singapore, we'll gather for a hosted Daddy Cruise Party. Here, you'll meet your fellow cruisers and start making new friends right away (good thing, we'll be together for two weeks!). We'll sail past Singapore's impressive skyline out into the South China Sea.
Day 3 - Koh Samui (Nathon), Thailand Our first stop is this beautiful island off mainland Thailand that is circled by palm-fringed beaches. Swimming, snorkeling and other active water sports are good; lounging on the beaches to soak up sun is also good! You can find shade in thatched-roof bungalows available everywhere. Whatever you do, save some energy for tomorrow: Bangkok.
Days 4 & 5 - Bangkok (Laem Chabang), Thailand
One of the most visited cities in the world, Bangkok is renowned for having a variety of sceneries, from a majestic coastline and concrete skyscrapers to golden-wrapped temples. You'll find yourself surrounded by tuk-tuks and taxis and overwhelmed by the appealing smell of the fantastic street food of Bangkok. My personal favorite? A (legitimate!) one-hour Thai massage, for under $10, available all over town. But don't miss the sights, too: the Grand Palace, the Temple of the Golden Buddha, Wat Suthat and the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Good thing we're there overnight with two days to explore!
Day 6 - Sihanoukville, Cambodia
After two days in hectic Bangkok, you'll welcome the beaches of Cambodia. But if swimming, snorkeling, and sunning don't appeal to you, there's a fabulous Buddhist pagoda with panoramic views of the peninsula, or hike to the Kbal Chhay Waterafalls, or shop at the Phsar Leu Market, a local market to get a feel for the "real" Cambodia.
Day 8 - Ho Chi Minh City (Phu My), Vietnam
Over four decades have passed since the fall of Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City). But the essence of the city, a major trading center for centuries, remains unchanged. The French influence is everywhere, but definitely with a Vietnamese take. Jade Emperor Pagoda (Taoist) is a must-see, as is Notre Dame Cathedral (Catholic). Shopping at Ben Thanh Market or Dong Khoi Street will not disappoint, especially if you break for the tempting cuisine.
Day 9 - Nha Trang, Vietnam
Vietnam's beaches and resorts will not disappoint. But that's not all you'll find here: for 13 centuries, Nha Trang was the capital of this corner of Southeast Asia. Historical sites abound, including the great Cham Tower complex just north of the city—an impressive tranquil testimony to the kingdom's prior glory.
Days 11 & 12 - Hue (Da Nang), Vietnam At the height of the Vietnam War, Da Nang was America's major strategic base. A turning point in the war was a battle for control of the old imperial capital here. Hue is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you can visit the imposing Imperial Citadel and the Thien Mu Pagoda. Nearby Hoi An, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is known for its well-preserved Ancient Town, cut through with canals. Its melting-pot history is reflected in its mix of architectural styles and forms.
Day 14 - Halong Bay, Vietnam Tucked in the northeast corner of Vietnam (very near China), Halong Bay is not what you think. Yes, there are beautiful beaches, of course. But this UNESCO World Heritage Site is more famous for its elaborate cave system—both on land and those that are accessible only by water (kayaking, anyone?).
Day 16 - Hong Kong, China Oh my! Another one of the world's great cities. Hong Kong defies stereotypes. You have to experience it to get it. Join us for a post-cruise tour. Or, return home—relaxed and rejuvenated, and full of memories that will last a lifetime!
