On a European cruise to the British Isles, walk in the footsteps of royalty, like the kings, queens and musical empires before you. Travel along the Royal Mile to Edinburgh Castle, where bagpipes greet you. See the world’s oldest book, The Book of Kells, at Trinity College Library. Or walk along Abbey Road and visit the old stomping grounds of one of the world’s most famous boybands. With Princess, fortresses and musical memoirs await.
On a British Isles cruise, fairytales come to life as you explore storybook castles and enchanting countrysides. Admire the stained-glass windows of Glasgow Cathedral. Uncover the mysteries of Stonehenge in England, and ascend the Eiffel Tower in Paris. And legend has it, you'll get the gift of gab after visiting the Blarney Stone at Ireland's iconic castle. With Princess®, feel like royalty amidst noble landscapes.
Your British Isles cruise will take you to England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, France, Scotland and fabled lands beyond. Encounter age-old traditions during a performance from the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
Mosey down cobbled pathways in Dublin that tell tales of civilizations past. Or walk along Scotland’s famous Loch Ness, and keep your eyes peeled for mythical creatures that call these waters home.
Your Ship - Regal Princess
Enjoy sweeping views from one of more than 1,400 balconies on Regal Princess or stroll on the SeaWalk®, a glass-floor walkway extending 28 feet beyond the edge of the ship! From the tranquil Sanctuary, a retreat reserved for adults, to the dazzling Princess WaterColor Fantasy light and water show and more, you'll find diversions for every mood.
Cruiseline, Cruise Critic, Avid Cruiser and other online sites all rate Regal Princess 4 out of 5 stars. CruiseCritic calls her "unmistakably elegant, finding a balance between fun and refinement." They say the food is a highlight. The buffet offers tremendous variety. The for-fee restaurants are reasonably priced, and "those who want to splurge will feel as if it was money well spent." But those who don't want to pay have enough options that they won't feel slighted.
Regal Princess features two huge pools and six hot tubs, including a few in the Sanctuary–an extra cost (but well worth it!) adults-only retreat with upscale lounging areas and attendants to bring a chilled towel or light bite to eat. At night we can snuggle up on deck to watch Movies Under the Stars on a huge 300-square-foot screen—complete with free popcorn. Inside, Berlitz says the Regal is "…warm and attractive, with an abundance of earth tones that suit American tastes…". She has an extra large casino, an internet café, a library, a spa, gym, and much more. Oh, and there's a self-serve launderette on every floor (so you can save on those valet charges, if you like!)
Princess Cruises has a successful history of more than 50 years. Once known from the original "Love Boat" TV-series, today Princess Cruises is renowned for a modern and luxurious way of travelling. Guests enjoy great service, first-class catering and interesting itineraries. Because of the international guests and English as the on board language we recommend travellers to have a fairly good command of the English language to make the cruise a pleasant experience.
Built in 2014 the Regal Princess offers space for up to 3,560 passengers. With a length of 330m she is one the largest cruise ships in the world. Thanks to Princess Cruises' "Big Ship - Small Ship Feel" concept guests nevertheless enjoy a feeling of intimacy on board. A special feature on the Regal Princess is the "SeaWalk" - a glass-paneled walkway extending several meters beyond the edge of the ship.
On the Regal Princess you will enjoy all amenities of a large and modern ocean liner, but at the same time get the intimate feeling of much smaller ships. Many small bars, lounges and public areas are one reason - the crew's individual and discreet service is another. Though most guests are English native speakers the travellers come from all over the world and create an international and classy atmosphere. This is reflected in the dress code: casual during the day and elegant in the evenings.
All staterooms are spacious, comfortably equipped and provide enough storage room for your luggage. Staterooms have a minimum size of 16m². Most of the cabins on board feature a private balcony.
Surrounding you with deluxe accommodations, a spacious Suite with balcony includes all the amenities of a Reserve Collection Mini-Suite, plus incredible premiums. Enjoy more living space, a sofa bed and separate seating areas, and wonderfully enhanced amenities that range from priority embarkation and disembarkation to a complimentary mini-bar setup in suite and so much more.
Gourmets will be delighted by the excellent food on board Regal Princess. No matter if you dine in the included buffet and à la carte restaurants or in one of the specialty restaurants - quality and taste have a superior level. Guests may choose between the traditional early and late dining with assigned tables or "anytime dining", where you are free to dine whenever it suites you best.
Indulge your appetite whenever you wish on board Princess®. Every hour, our chefs are busy baking, grilling and sautéing great-tasting fare from scratch. Princess offers unparalleled inclusive dining options throughout the ship with a wide range of culinary delights to suit any palate, from endless buffet choice to gourmet pizza, frosty treats, decadent desserts and much more.
Princess Cruises is famous for their "movies under the stars" where the pool deck turns into a romantic cinema. Daily shows are entertaining the audience in the evening, the Casino invites all who love to play and several lounges and bars are ideal places to socialize. On the other hand the Regal Princess offers wonderful places to relax and enjoy calmness. The large Spa area is the perfect place to revitalize yourself. For all those who enjoy sports the fitness center, a jogging track, the court for volleyball, basketball and tennis are some of the places to be.

Day 1 - London (Southampton), England
The fun begins the moment you board the Regal Princess - which has been designed from bow to stern for your fun and enjoyment. As we sail out of Southampton (near London), we’ll gather for a hosted Daddy Cruise party. Here, you’ll meet your fellow cruisers and start making new friends right away.
Day 2 - Fun Day at Sea! Our first full day is at sea. Relax, unwind and get into vacation mode. Lounge on your private balcony or near one of the pools, or maybe even find a quiet nook to settle in with a book. Want to be more active on your day at sea? Play bingo, work out at the gym, watch a movie, dance all night, attend a cooking seminar, soak in a hot tub, watch a sunset (or a sunrise), play trivia games, sing along at the piano bar, do some wine tasting, check your email or surf the internet, grab a snack, watch live entertainment, get lucky in the casino, indulge in a spa treatment, catch the game in the sports bar, and on and on…
Day 3 - Cork (Cobh), Ireland
Founded in the 6th century, Cork is your gateway to romantic Ireland. Stroll down narrow country lanes, see the Lakes of Killarney, or if you’re up for it, climb the narrow passages of Blarney Castle to kiss the Blarney Stone. Cork was the single most important port of emigration from Ireland. The region around Cork is also home to a huge concentration of prehistoric monuments.
Day 4 - Dublin (Dun Laoghaire), Ireland
One of our favorite cities in the world! Ireland’s capital is an intimate place that’s easy to explore. Stroll past St. Stephen's Green or survey the gray, stone façades of Trinity College, Ireland's oldest university (be sure to duck in to the famous library!). No visit to Ireland is complete without a pint of Guinness—get yours after taking a tour of the factory in town or just head straight to Temple Bar (the restaurant/pub area of Dublin).
Day 5 - Belfast, Northern Ireland
The capital of Northern Ireland – a part of the United Kingdom – Belfast has experienced a renaissance since the Good Friday Agreement of 1998 that promised an end to the decades-old "Troubles" between Catholics and Protestants. Visit the Titanic Museum (that ship was built in Belfast) view the famous political murals, and shop for famous Irish linen. Or venture out to the Irish countryside to see many of the locations used to film the Game of Thrones. Maybe stop at the Giant’s Causeway, a fascinating expanse of over 40,000 interlocking basalt columns; it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 6 - Glasgow (Greenock), Scotland Glasgow is the commercial and cultural capital of the Lowlands. Lying on the banks of the River Clyde, Glasgow boasts some of the finest Victorian architecture in the entire United Kingdom, including the stately City Chambers. Elegant Princes Square offers excellent shopping, and among the host of museums and galleries, the Burrell Collection features a superb treasure trove of paintings and art objects. Throw in the Glasgow Cathedral (built in 1197!) and a couple castles and you’ve already got too much to do here!
Day 7 - Fun Day at Sea! After all this, you’ll be ready for a full day at sea! Relax, unwind and enjoy vacation mode. Lounge on your private balcony or near one of the pools, or maybe even find a quiet nook to settle in with a book. Want to be more active on your day at sea? Play bingo, work out at the gym, watch a movie, dance all night, attend a cooking seminar, soak in a hot tub, watch a sunset (or a sunrise), play trivia games, sing along at the piano bar, do some wine tasting, check your email or surf the internet, grab a snack, watch live entertainment, get lucky in the casino, indulge in a spa treatment, catch the game in the sports bar, and on and on.
Day 8 - Kirkwall (Orkney Islands), Scotland Just north of Scotland lay the Orkney Islands. This chain of over 70 islands offers dramatic landscapes that range from sea cliffs rearing 1,000 feet above the waves to sweeping white sand beaches. The Orkney Islands boast the greatest concentration of prehistoric sites in all Europe, including the mysterious Ring of Brodgar and 5,000-year-old Skara Brae. Also here are Viking Norsemen relics like the St. Magnus Cathedral very near where we dock.
Day 9 - Inverness (Invergordon), Scotland Invergordon is our gateway to Loch Ness and that area of the Highlands known as the "Great Glen." In 1933, an enterprising local editor enlivened a slow news week with the story of an odd sighting in Loch Ness. The legend grew overnight - and today individuals still scan the dark waters of the Loch for a sight of Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster. Legend goes back as far as the 6th century and insists that the celebrated Loch Ness Monster inhabits a cave beneath the picturesque ruins of Urquhart Castle. The area is dotted with other castles as well; you’ll almost expect to run into Mary Queen of Scots at any turn.
Day 10 - Edinburgh (South Queensferry), Scotland Edinburgh is the political, commercial and cultural heart of Scotland. Nestled between the Highlands and the Border Hills, Edinburgh is a gracious city noted for its superb skyline (Edinburgh Castle is perched on a cliff overlooking the center of town), its impressive collection of architecture (the elegant New Town area is lined with graceful Georgian buildings) and its beautiful parks (which feature ancient ruins nearly 1,000 years old!). To stroll the streets of Edinburgh is to experience one of the world's great cities.
Day 11 - Fun Day at Sea! Yes, after Ireland and Scotland, you’ll be ready for another day to rest up at sea! Relax, unwind and enjoy your vacation mode.
Day 12 - Paris (Le Havre), France OK, this will be tough. Do you go to the “City of Lights” (Paris)? Or do you pay tribute to the heroes of World War II at the beaches of Normandy? Good thing you’re booking this cruise early. You’ll need some time to decide!
Day 13 - London (Southampton), England Welcome back to London, England - enriched and inspired, and full of memories that will last a lifetime!
