Outdoor Activities
There are two main pools on board Queen Elizabeth, the Lido pool and Pavilion pool, each is open throughout the day, as are the whirlpools found next to each pool.
Games Deck Queen Elizabeth’s Games Deck is a large, covered space on the top deck of the ship. You’ll find a wide variety of games played here – feel free to try a hand at any of them or perhaps sign up for a friendly tournament to add a little competitive edge.
Shuffleboard Cunard passengers have been enjoying the traditional nautical games of shuffleboard and deck quoits for almost as long as we have been sailing. Challenge friends to a game or join in one of the tournaments advertised in the Daily Programme.

Day 1 - Miami, Florida, USA
A coastal metropolis on the shores of the Sunshine State, Miami is home to beautiful beaches, vibrant art galleries, and a bustling nightlife.
With attractions that go well beyond sun and sand, Miami boasts a diverse culture through its food, art, and entertainment, appealing to celebrities and holidaymakers alike. Miami is one of the most popular vacation spots in the USA, and a perennial favorite for gay travelers. Miami Beach is the place to be. You'll see a lot of beautiful people, not least scantily clad gay men! Right by Miami Beach you'll find many excellent bars and restaurants.
Days 2 & 3 - A Day at Sea!

Day 4 - Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas (USVI)
The idyllic island of St Thomas has a rich and interesting history beneath its postcard-perfect, white sand surface. Around 40 miles east of Puerto Rico is St Thomas, one of the three main US Virgin Islands. The island offers a seemingly unending parameter of stunning beaches. But it’s so much more than this. In its interior, you’ll find historic buildings that hold within them stories of a colonial past peppered with pirates and characters from all over the world. Whether you seek time spent enjoying the sunshine and doing very little, or you’d prefer to explore the island and learn about its people, time spent in St Thomas promises an abundance of unforgettable experiences.
Day 5 - St John's, Antigua
St. John’s, the capital city of Antigua, is laden with hotspots of natural beauty and historical intrigue. The island itself is bordered by 95 miles of glorious coastline and 365 soft, sugar-white sandy beaches, and is a true jewel in the Caribbean.
Enjoy the overflow of local charm and hospitality, and wander streets getting lost on purpose as each corner brings another scene you’ll want to photograph.
Day 6 - Castries, St. Lucia
Tucked on the northwest coast of St Lucia is its capital, Castries. With a pretty harbour that faces out to the Caribbean Sea, Castries is an idyllic place to explore. As with many of the Caribbean islands, St Lucia has a European colonial history. The French settled here in the mid-17th century, and Castries itself was founded in 1650. Its original name was Carénage, which translates to ‘careening’, or ‘beaching’, relating to the ships brought ashore here.
Elements of French influence can be seen throughout Castries, from its wonderful fusion food to colonial style architecture. Not to mention the French-based Creole language that you’ll hear as you explore.
Day 7 - Bridgetown, Barbados
Whilst sailing to Barbados, you’ll encounter a land where relaxation and adventure go hand in hand. Sailing through the warm, blue waters of the Caribbean, when you arrive at Barbados you’ll dock at the capital city of Bridgetown – a veritable feast of breathtaking scenery, delicious cuisine, and exceptional hospitality. A town steeped in history, surrounded by an abundance of natural beauty with plenty to see and do, Bridgetown is the perfect location to enjoy a generous helping of Caribbean charm and culture.
Day 8 - A Day at Sea!
Enjoy a speciality coffee or tea at this chic, art deco style café on board Queen Elizabeth. Every Cunard experience plays out to a backdrop of fabulous live music on board.
Day 9 - Philipsburg, St Maarten
The tiny island of Sint Maarten is something really special. Time spent here will leave you full of memories of turquoise waters, colourful buildings, palm-fringed beaches, and more. Philipsburg is the capital of Dutch Sint Maarten and is where you’ll dock on a visit to the island. On approach, straight away you’ll be met with idyllic island vistas. Lush green hillsides, bustling shops and restaurants and, of course, beautiful turquoise Caribbean waters lapping at the shore.
Day 10 - Road Town, Tortola
Sugar sand beaches. Vibrant green hillsides. Turquoise waters lapping at the shore. As you approach Road Town on the island of Tortola, you’ll be met with a vision of paradise.
Found in the middle of the south coast, Road Town is on the island of Tortola which, while the largest of the British Virgin Islands, is only 56km square.
It’s an island whose parameter is peppered with calm bays and hidden coves, which have attracted travellers, sailors, and yachtsmen for many centuries.
Days 11 & 12 - A Day at Sea!
