Croatia Dalmatia Gay Cruise Tour 2021 Itinerary
Day 1 - Friday, July 23, 2021
Split, Croatia Bok! Welcome to Croatia and our signature gay Croatia cruise!
Check-in to our centrally located 4-star hotel, then meet your fellow adventurers at 5PM for a group meeting before we break bread at an included welcome dinner within walking distance from the hotel.
The four-star Cornaro Hotel is perfectly located in the center of Split, just a minute walk from the UNESCO-protected Diocletian's Palace. It's just a few steps away from the main city attractions, significant cultural sites, and the main shopping area.
And for those interested we’ll head for optional drinks at a nearby gay-welcoming bar after dinner.
If you are checking in to the hotel under your OUT Adventures reservation, a complimentary arrival transfer will be included.
Day 2 - Saturday, July 24, 2021
Split / Bol / Milna Check out of the hotel this morning, then join us on a late morning walking tour of the old town including Diocletian’s Palace.
We’ll then point out our luxurious yacht – the Black Swan – before giving you free time for lunch. We’ll board our yacht and set sail early this afternoon for the island of Brac where we’ll swim at one of the most famous beaches in Dalmatia – Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn beach). We’ll then continue to our first overnight stop, the small village of Milna where we’ll enjoy a welcome cocktail and dinner onboard.
Day 3 - Sunday, July 25, 2021
Milna / Hvar
After breakfast, we depart Milna for Hvar. Hvar is the longest Island in the Adriatic and one of the sunniest; known for lavish lavender fields and breathtaking beauty. En route we’ll enjoy morning and afternoon swim stops and an included lunch. On arrival at Hvar we’ll head out for a guided tour followed by a free evening to explore. An optional dinner will be available.
Day 4 - Monday, July 26, 2021
Hvar / Biševo / Vis
An early departure brings us to the quaint island of Biševo, where the Blue cave awaits providing the weather is in our favour.
We then continue to the island of Vis, an isolated former Yugoslav naval base that captures the Mediterranean “as it once was”. Here, you can either pay to visit the remains of the Roman thermal baths, hit up the city museum or simply take in the free views of the beautiful Rustic Vill on the waterfront. We overnight in the port, with an included BBQ dinner on board our ship.
Day 5 - Tuesday, July 27, 2021
Vis / Korcula This morning we depart for Korcula – the birthplace of Marco Polo – and a favourite stop amongst Out Adventurers. We’ll have a swim stop and lunch along the way, and upon arrival we’ll enjoy a late afternoon walking tour.
Since it’s only a short walk to the yacht from anywhere in the old town, we encourage you to explore the area and its charming shops, bars and restaurants.
Day 6 - Wednesday, July 28, 2021
Korcula / Trstenik
Another morning, another beautiful swim stop. Then we enjoy lunch and another swim stop before arriving in Trstenik on the Pelješac peninsula.
Here, we’ll head to a modern local winery that includes a tour of the grounds and cellar, followed by a luscious 3-course dinner paired with five pristine Croatian wines. Tonight we overnight in this quaint and charming town.
Day 7 - Thursday, July 29, 2021
Trstenik / Mljet Today we depart early, cruising to the island of Mljet after we have a morning swim stop.
Once in Mljet, we’ll join our local guide for a stroll through the famous salt lakes of Mljet National Park. This visit includes a boat ride to St Mary Isle to visit an ancient monastery, an old abbey, and a church that dates back to the 12th century. If you’d like to get the blood flowing, you can also rent a kayak, bike or scooter to roam the park on your own. We’ll enjoy our Captain’s Dinner aboard the boat in either Polaca or Pomena.
Day 8 - Friday, July 30, 2021
Mljet / Dubrovnik This morning we depart early for the world-famous Dubrovnik, cruising past the old city walls while enjoying lunch onboard.
We’ll dock in the new port given the large size of our vessel, then transfer into town for a guided walking tour. This will be followed by a cable car ride up Srd Mountain where we’ll soak up the scenic views of the Old City Walls and Elaphiti Islands. You’ll have some free time in town to wander, then we’ll meet at a central location for our gourmet Farewell Dinner at a fabulous rooftop restaurant.
Day 9 - Saturday, July 31, 2021
Dubrovnik / Departure This morning we bid farewell to our faithful yacht crew, and each other, as our adventure comes to an end.
There are no activities planned, and we must disembark by 9 AM. There will be a luggage storage option available for those with afternoon or evening flights, and we have a host hotel for those wishing to spend more time in this ancient city. As the Croatians say – Dovidenja, or goodbye!
