There is no airport in Savona so most passengers beginning or ending cruises there normally fly into or out of Genoa, or Milán-Malpensa Airport which lies 190km to the north. Shuttle transfers are available from the airport to Milano Centrale train stations from where there are some direct trains to Savona and others which require a change in Genoa.
Welcome on board Costa Pacifica
The sea moves to its own rhythm and on board Costa Pacifica any time is the right time to dance! All the decks bear the name of a famous musician, and all the décor is a perfect mix of lights and colors. Music is the theme that runs through everything on board. Enjoy a musical or an exciting theater show in the evening. Use the slides to plunge into the pools and then relax with an aperitif at sunset overlooking the sea. It will be music to your ears!
Step aboard the Costa Pacifica, where comfort, elegance, and relaxation come together for an unforgettable cruise experience. Spacious, tastefully appointed cabins and suites provide all the amenities you need—and more—offering a true home away from home at sea. With five hot tubs and four pools, including two with retractable covers, there’s plenty of space to unwind.
For a truly rejuvenating experience, visit the wellness center, a serene oasis at sea. Bask in the natural light of the solarium, dream about your next adventure, or let the sauna and thalassotherapy pool melt your stress away.
Art lovers will be captivated by the ship’s stunning collection of 308 original works and 5,929 prints, creating a floating gallery at sea. For top-tier entertainment, the three-story theater hosts Vegas-style extravaganzas, while thrill-seekers can test their skills in the Grand Prix Simulator for an adrenaline rush unlike any other.
The true flavours of street food... by the pool! The perfect place to enjoy a burger, filled with all your favourite flavours, and delicious panini with fillings to suit all tastes. Allow yourself to be tempted by authentic Amalfi Coast desserts from the Sal de Riso patisserie: how can you resist a Baba or a Neapolitan Riccia?
Every evening at the theatre, spectacular shows await you: musicals, comedy shows, acrobats, games and much more... there is something for everyone!

Day 1 - Savona (Genoa), Italy
The dream begins. We meet on board for the first group toast as we bid farewell to the Ligurian coast.
Located on the Ligurian coast of Italy between Monaco and Genoa, Savona has served as an important port since it was occupied by the Romans in 180 BC. Above the port of Savona, the Priamar Fortress greets our departure and arrival of the Costa Pacifica ship sailing in the Mediterranean. Genoa and its aquarium are nearby. The port of Savona is one of the prettiest of the Italian Riviera. The lovely climate, summers that are never to hot, mild winters and the exceptional beauty of the sea near the town makes Savona an excellent base to set out to explore Liguria. Savona is notable for the Priamar Fortress, which has dominated the town since the 16th century, and also for its historic centre where you can visit Savona Cathedral. A stop in Savona can also be an opportunity to visit the nearby city of Genoa and its narrow, picturesque streets, known as “caruggi”.
Day 2 - Toulon - La Seyne-sur-Mer, France
A morning immersed in the charm of Provence and the chic atmosphere of the French Riviera.
The port of Toulon is a significant port owing to its well-protected location. It is one of the main ports and most typical of the French Riviera. Provence, France, is a land steeped in European culture. This southern region of the country is celebrated for its outstanding food and wine, deep gorges, and its arresting medieval villages, not to mention a profusion of sunny, Mediterranean sparkle, and more than a little glamor.
Day 3 - Palma de Mallorca, Spain
A day on golden beaches culminating in a legendary evening: the "Magaluf Jungle Party" in the bay, from 11pm until late at night.
In Spain there is only one place that does holidays, leisure, shopping and culture: Palma de Mallorca, where we stop on our Costa Cruise. Lose yourself in the atmospheric Gothic Quarter behind the cathedral. Head to an old country mansion to learn about olive oil production. Marvel at the city’s artistic heritage at the Joan Miró Foundation. Drink cocktails in a palm-shaded garden or a hip rooftop bar, or relax on a sandy beach. This is one of the great joys of Palma de Mallorca; you don’t have to choose, as a day here will give you both sightseeing and beach time.
Day 3 - Palma Bay "Magaluf Jungle Party"
Coordinates: 38.9 N, 2.5 E
The ship leaves the port of Palma and moves to the perfect spot in the bay to experience the night from a new perspective. Magaluf, the true symbol of nightlife, feels closer than ever. On board, that energy comes to life: the deck transforms into an urban jungle with a DJ set, lights, sparkling branches, masks, animal creatures, and performers in motion.
Day 4 - Alicante, Spain
All the nightlife and warmth of Mediterranean Spain, from strolls along the Esplanada to aperitifs overlooking the sea.
Alicante, in the land of Spain, features the full-flavour and full-bodied taste of the vine of the same name. Here there is a lot to see but also much to enjoy. Few ports of call embody the au natural, beachy goodness the way Alicante, Spain does. Like most Spanish cities, Alicante comes alive at night after 9pm, when lively tapas bars fill up with locals and beach bars blare music you can really dance to. When you cruise Alicante, share a bottle of wine among friends, eat delicious paella, and explore the city’s signature sights like the Castillo de Santa Barbara or shop at the enduring Mercado Central.
Day 5 - Fun Day at Sea!
A full day dedicated to total relaxation, the spa, and our community moments in the heart of the Mediterranean. Immerse yourself in life on board: everything is designed to keep you entertained, relaxing and trying new things from morning to evening.
Day 6 - Olbia / Costa Smeralda, Sardinia
The wild beauty of Sardinia. After a stop in the city, we enjoy the "Sunset Vibes" in the Golfo degli Aranci: the most glamorous sunset of the holiday.
The Sea of Sardinia measures up to Caribbean standards. The same dream beaches, the same crystal clear water. Anyone who has been to Olbia in Costa Smeralda knows this. No Sardinian vacation is complete without experiencing its cafe culture, sipping an aperitif, or enjoying spaghetti with local clams.
Day 6 - Aranci Gulf
Coordinates: 40.9 N, 9.6 E
The ship is in the most scenic spot of Golfo Aranci, as the sun slowly disappears behind the outline of Sardinia, marking the beginning of the golden hour. At the bow, the sky lights up with golden reflections and the atmosphere transforms. A DJ set accompanies the setting sun, while live saxophone and percussion weave into the music, creating an elegant and relaxed rhythm. A unique moment, from the ship’s deck, surrounded by the sea at sunset.
Day 7 - Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy
A dive into eternal history or a day of pure shopping before the last big night on board.
Civitavecchia, a former Etruscan port, is the seaport for Rome. And what about it? Everything here reflects the glorious power of a people who ruled the world. Extraordinary architecture, millennia of turbulent history, magnificent basilicas concealing unimaginable riches, and ornate fountains splashing at the heart of sun-drenched piazzas are just some of the many reasons to visit Rome. Art greets you on every corner, from elaborate statues to delicate frescoes.
Day 8 - Savona (Genoa), Italy
The return, with a heart full of new memories and friendships that will last forever.
Behind Savona's sprawling port facilities, the city's unexpectedly graceful medieval centre is well worth a stop. Among the old-town treasures to survive destruction by Genoese forces in the 16th century are the baroque Cattedrale di Nostra Signora Assunta and the lumbering Fortezza del Priamàr. There's also a nice urban buzz, with lots of new shops, bars and restaurants regenerating the old centre. Don't miss an opportunity to visit the capital of the Italian region of Liguria the nearby city of Genoa.
