We have designed this tour especially for you to come and discover gay friendly Argentina to enjoy it fully, in a unique experience. Argentina is a country of vast riches, beautiful scenery and lots of secrets to reveal. We love Argentina. It's got it all: hot guys, delicious food, loads of cute boys, stunning scenery, a huge diversity of wildlife... and did we mention it has the hottest guys on the planet…?!! Gay Argentina in a complete trip.
Above all else, Argentina is one of the most gay-friendly countries in Latin America and in our opinion, one of the most gay-friendly in the world. It's a very easy country for gay travellers to explore, with many top not-to-miss highlights to check out. Most of the big cities also have fun gay scenes, particularly Buenos Aires, which has one of the best on the continent.
Buenos Aires has a varied gay scene to discover, particularly around the Palermo and Recoleta neighborhoods. The capital is also home to the tango and several queer milongas (tango halls). San Telmo is the cool, tango-inspired neighborhood with many boutique shops and an excellent Sunday market, a must for all visitors. Buenos Aires is also famous for its parillas (steak houses), which are some of the best in the country.
Buenos Aires is tango, Evita, Che, bandoneon, soccer, night shows and art in all its expressions. It’s the ideal city for holidays for those who want to enjoy mild weather and kind people. It is the departure or arrival point to wonderful places such as huge Patagonia, gorgeous Tierra del Fuego, magnificent south lakes, impressive Calafate, mountain Mendoza, Salta "the beautiful", incredible Iguazu Falls, quiet Mesopotamia.
To get to know Buenos Aires, with its wonderful avenues, parks, museums, entertainment centers and people is a unique experience. We will go around the City of Buenos Aires and see a tango show with dinner included, that will show us the city’s typical music and dance.
Afterwards we will travel to the wonderful Iguazú Falls, with its impressive San Martín Fall and the Devil’s Throat (Garganta del Diablo). If you wish to, you can add The Great Adventure, which involves watching those huge falls of thousands litres of water from a rubber dinghy at the foot of the falls. A fun experience the will leave you flabbergasted.
Iguazu Falls is a UNESCO World Heritage sites and 2011 was named one of the 7 Wonders of the Natural World.
After a night in Buenos Aires, la Reina del Plata, we will go to the Argentine south. We will land in Calafate and from there we will visit the famous Perito Moreno Glacier. In case we want to, we will have enough time to do the minitrekking (a walk on the glacier) or go sailing around the walls of this stunning ice-floating island. We will also be able to go on an excursion to the Upsala, Speghazzini and Onelli Glaciers.
In Ushuaia we will admire the famous lengas woods and its wonderful lakes, as well as having the possibility of riding the End of the World Train and visiting the End of the World Prison, today transformed into a museum.
Despite the fact that Argentina is a Catholic country, Buenos Aires is one of the world's top gay destinations, with dedicated hostels and guesthouses, bars and nightclubs. In 2002 BA became the first Latin American city to legalize same-sex civil unions, and in July 2010 Argentina became the first Latin American country to legalize same-sex marriage.
As always, we have selected hotels to offer you comfort, elegance and good service, in each destination of this Complete Argentina Gay Tour.
