We invite you to get to know the wonderful Argentine Patagonia, starting in Ushuaia, the most southern city in the world, with its fantastic view of the south seas as well as its unique Fagnano and Escondido Lakes, its lengas forest, and the End of the World Prison. You have a chance to ride the End of the World Train also.
An ideal option to get to know Extreme Patagonia, visiting two major sites: a visit to the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier with its magic and mysterious deep blue ice (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Ushuaia's charm and uniqueness, the "Bay facing dusk" in Tierra del Fuego, the End of the World.

On South America’s southern frontier, nature grows wild, barren and beautiful. Spaces are large, as are the silences that fill them. For the newly arrived, such emptiness can be as impressive as the sight of Patagonia’s jagged peaks, pristine rivers and dusty backwater oases. In its enormous scale, Patagonia offers a wealth of potential experiences and landscapes.

On this trip we will visit Calafate, the city where we will lodge to be able to visit one of the most impressive world’s wonders: the Perito Moreno Glacier. As well as the excursion we offer you, you can chose minitrekking on this ice mass and sailing round the glacier’s walls.

El Calafate
El Calafate is a small town in the far south of Argentina with a small population, but vast numbers of tourists visiting throughout the year, hoping to explore the nearby Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, Argentina’s Glacier National Park. While the town is small, there are plenty of expeditions or tours to the National Park for visitors to make the most of, as well as a few good attractions within El Calafate itself.

Perito Moreno Glacier
The main attraction of Parque Nacional Los Glaciares is the glacier named Perito Moreno, and one of the best ways to get up close to it is on a boat trip. From the boat, visitors can really get a feel of the vastness of the glacier (it is 60 metres high), and if they wait for long enough are likely to see a huge chunk of ice fall off the front. Another way to see the glacier is from the visitor centre, which has a good trail that covers various different viewing angles. From the viewing platforms, you can see the starting point of Perito Moreno, 35 kilometres away at the summit of the Andes.

Tierra del Fuego If you’ve never planned on visiting Tierra del Fuego in the very south of Argentina, put it on your to-do list right now. Known as one of the world’s final frontiers, this breathtaking spot in Patagonia is home to the town of Ushuaia, dubbed ‘the end of the world’ after its location at the very tip of South America, as well as incredible wildlife and landscapes.

Tierra del Fuego has all the trappings that Patagonia offers to thrill seekers, nature lovers and adventurers the world over. Looking for natural wonders, pristine glaciers, a taste of the wild and some of the most unique cultural experiences on the planet?
Tierra del Fuego has it all – national parks, lakes, rivers and waterways, expansive nothingness and untouched corners that no one has even ventured into. In essence, all of the magic and beauty that Patagonia is renowned for.
The Fueguino Hotel Patagónico is located in the heart of the city of Ushuaia. In this city, which is at one end of the planet, you can find a thousand and one options to make your trip an unforgettable experience. The Kosten Aike Hotel, located in downtown El Calafate, is a great base from which to explore the nearby Glaciers national park.
