Day 1 - Monday, November 3, 2025

Epic Adventure!:
Combine this trip with our Thailand Discovery Luxury Gay Tour that immediately proceeds this trip and our Vietnam and Cambodia Luxury All-Gay Cruise & Tour which proceeds Thailand for one Epic Adventure!

If you are combining this trip with Thailand, be sure to ask us to add on the flight from Bangkok to Singapore to combine these two trips seamlessly.

Upon arrival Singapore Changi airport (SIN), take a private transfer to Woodland Station to board the striking green and cream carriages of the Eastern & Oriental Express at Woodlands Station, Singapore. Settle into your air-conditioned cabin, a sanctuary of cherrywood paneling, Thai silks and Malaysian embroidery.

As the train travels through lush, green landscapes, it sets the scene for your immersion into wild Malaysia. Weave through tangled jungle, rubber and palm plantations, soaking up the vistas as your steward serves a healthy afternoon tea in your cabin.

Soon, evening falls and it’s time to dress for dinner in the Dining Car. Indulge in sustainable specialties enhanced with herbs and plants sourced from remote regions.

Langkawi, Malaysia gay tour

 

Day 2 - Tuesday, November 4, 2025
Kuala Lumpur / Langkawi
During breakfast in the Dining Car, soak up the vistas as the train courses past the rice paddies and timeless rural villages of western Malaysia.

After lunch, alight at Alor Setar station for a 25-minute boat trip to Langkawi’s Pulau Payar Marine Park, renowned for its vibrant underwater life, from parrot fish and angel fish to moray eels and grouper.

Here, you will be provided with a luxury picnic set and have an array of options to choose from. Unwind with wellness experiences such as a massage, meditation and tai chi, try paddle boarding and snorkeling or stride off on an island walk. With a friendly welcome from the locals and access to a bar for cocktails and a BBQ, this is a true glimpse of paradise.

Returning to the train, an evening of lively celebrations with local entertainers awaits in the Piano Bar Car, accompanied by a delicious dinner.

Penang, Malaysia gay tour

 

Day 3 - Wednesday, November 5, 2025
West Coast Line / Penang
Today you arrive in Penang Island, Malaysia’s cultural melting pot, where you have a choice of excursions.

The first is a discovery of the culinary art of Peranakan cooking, where you will visit a spice shop and traditional grocery stores to purchase herbs and vegetables, before trying your hand at making some enticing local dishes.

The second suits those with a passion for culture and art, taking you to Georgetown Old Quarter to see stunning temples, a contemporary studio and an opera and puppet house.

Lastly, you can choose to explore independently. Armed with a map, a tri-shaw and a driver, navigate Georgetown’s picturesque streets at your own pace. Your driver will take you anywhere you want to go, from grand attractions to hidden corners.

Rejoin the train at Butterworth for lunch and a leisurely afternoon on board. A final celebratory evening beckons with irresistible cuisine, entertainment and company. If you’re still up shortly after midnight, you’ll glimpse Kuala Lumpur as the train passes through.

Day 4 - Thursday, November 6, 2025
Johor / Singapore
Linger over breakfast in your cabin or the Dining Car as you travel through the southernmost state of Johor, known for its beaches and rainforest. Soon afterwards, the train crosses the strait to Singapore, where you disembark with your magical memories.

Transfer onward to a tour of Singapore City to explore the history, culture and lifestyles of multi-racial Singapore. First Little India – a haven of Indian culture and ethnicity that embodies the vibrant and colorful pulse of the Indian community in Singapore.

Next, drive to the mouth of the Singapore River. The Merlion, a national icon representing Singapore’s humble beginning as a fishing village is located here. The Merlion Park set against the City as backdrop is a sight not to be missed. Drive past the Financial District to Chinatown and discover the rich heritage of Chinatown through insightful stories.

Last stop is the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the ‘green lung’ of our city. Experience the calm and serenity of this 52 hectares garden. Located within the grounds is the National Orchid Garden where you can marvel at the wide and colorful variety of Orchids on display.

After enjoy a farewell lunch, before checking in to our hotel, where you’ll have the rest of the evening at leisure to explore this magnificent city.

Sensitive to the varying wardrobe needs of passengers on long journeys and from different regional backgrounds and wish our guests to be comfortable at all times. During the day dress for relaxed comfort as you move about the train and embark on excursions. Evenings call for smart-casual attire with a touch of understated elegance, and we suggest a jacket or dress equivalent for dinner.

When should I schedule my flights?
Arrival
If you are participating in the Thailand pre-tour, your flight from Bangkok to Singapore is included.
If you are only participating in this trip, you should schedule your flights to arrive to Singapore by November 3, 2025. Boarding begins late afternoon.

Departure
You should schedule to fly home from Singapore at anytime on November 7, 2025. Hotel check out is at 11:00am.

 

What arrival and departure transfers are included?
Arrival transfers are provided for guests on the main program, from Singapore International Airport (SIN) to the Eastern & Oriental Express train.

Departure transfers are provided from Carlton Hotel Singapore to the Singapore International Airport (SIN).

 

What are the passport and visa requirements?
Citizens of the US and Canada are required to have a valid passport, which is valid for six months after your last date of travel. Visas are not required for citizens of these countries. Citizens of all other countries should check with the consulate in their home country to verify entry requirements.
