Agra, located on the banks of the Yamuna River, is one of India’s most historic cities, best known for the Taj Mahal, a symbol of eternal love and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Next, we’ll visit the 16th-Century Mughal monument known as the Red Fort of Agra. Today we’ll explore Udaipur, home to the City Palace... built over a period of nearly 400 years. The palace stands as a stunning fusion of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture.

We’ll enjoy a scenic drive through Rajasthan’s countryside, passing rolling hills and traditional villages. En route, you’ll visit the Ranakpur Jain Temples, renowned for their intricate marble carvings and peaceful ambiance.

Udaipur, founded in 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh II, is the famed ‘City of Lakes’, set against the Aravalli Hills. Once the Mewar Kingdom’s capital, it boasts a rich royal heritage, seen in its grand palaces, temples and serene lakes. Udaipur is set around a series of artificial lakes and is known for its lavish royal residences. City Palace, overlooking Lake Pichola, is a monumental complex of eleven palaces, courtyards and gardens, famed for its intricate peacock mosaics.
