Splendors of Morocco Luxury Gay Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Monday, October 05, 2026
Arrive in Casablanca, Morocco
"Marhaba!" This is the traditional greeting used in Morocco to mean a warm “hello and welcome!”

Today your flight arrives in Casablanca (CMN). On arrival, we are met by a representative of the airport where special arrangements have been made for us to pass through immigration formalities and clear customs. We are then transferred to our luxury hotel to start our unforgettable visit to Morocco.

The name Casablanca evokes thoughts of good living, romance, and adventure in a tropical setting, an image that the 1943 Humphrey Bogart film conveyed to cinema-goers in the drab years of World War Two. Originally settled by Berbers in the 7th century, Casablanca’s fairly recent growth has made it the bustling, French-influenced business center of Morocco it is today.

In the afternoon, we’ll uncover Casablanca’s treasures, starting with the majestic Hassan II Grand Mosque, one of the few mosques in Morocco that are open to non-Muslims. Intricate tilework and the soft echo of prayers create a breathtaking atmosphere.

Later, we’ll visit Mohammed V Square and the beautiful lanes of the Quartier Habbous, a modern vision of a traditional medina.

As the day winds down, we will return to our host hotel for our “Welcome Dinner” to mingle with fellow travelers for the beginning of your wondrous adventure in Morocco.

We strongly suggest arriving in Casablanca by noon or the day before (October 4th). Arrival Airport: Casablanca (CMN).

Hotel: Hyatt Regency Casablanca Hotel, Casablanca

Day 2 - Tuesday, October 06, 2026
Casablanca to Fes via Rabat
Today, we exchange Casablanca’s modern energy for the timeless charm of Rabat, Morocco’s historic capital and the seat of its government.

We’ll depart this morning to Rabat for a city tour, including a walk through the Kasbah des Oudayas.

We’ll savor a refreshing mint tea – “Moroccan whisky” as the locals call it- and a Moroccan pastry, followed by lunch at a local restaurant at the Marina of Rabat-Sale.

As the day continues, we’ll journey onward to Fes, the heart of Moroccan culture.

Hotel: Riad Fes - Relais & Châteaux, Fes

Fes, Morocco gay tour

Day 3 - Wednesday, October 07, 2026
Fes
You’ll feel like you’ve stepped into another world as we adventure through the enchanting city of Fes. Home to the American Fondouk, the Karaouine University (one of the world’s oldest), and the exquisite Attarine Medersa, Fes is a treasure trove of cultural wonders. But the true highlight is Fes el Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest living medieval medina.

A visit to Fes el Bali is a feast for the senses. Bustling souks, narrow alleyways teeming with life, and the aroma of spices linger in the air. It’s a scene straight out of Aladdin, where treasures await those who seek them and friendly haggling is part of the experience.

We’ll also see the time-honored traditions of leather tanning and marvel at the intricate craftsmanship of zellij tiles at a pottery factory. This is Morocco at its most authentic!

Hotel: Riad Fes - Relais & Châteaux, Fes

Volubilis, Morocco gay tour

Day 4 - Thursday, October 08, 2026
Volubilis Excursion
Volubilis is another UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the largest and best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. Wander through the ruins, imagining the footsteps of those who came before. Triumphal arches, mosaics, and the remnants of daily life paint a vivid picture of this once-bustling city.

But Morocco is full of surprises and we’re all for it in this Morocco luxury tour! So, from ancient wonders, we’ll embark on a delightful journey into the unexpected world of Moroccan wine — a heritage that stretches back centuries. Nestled between mountains and sea, stroll through the lush and picturesque vineyard, tour the cellars, and sample the wines while enjoying a gourmet lunch.

Hotel: Riad Fes - Relais & Châteaux, Fes

Sahara Desert gay tour

Day 5 - Friday, October 09, 2026
Fes to Merzouga
Winding our way through the majestic Atlas Mountains to the fertile lands of the Tafilalet region, our journey unfolds like a living postcard. Dramatic peaks, scenic landscapes, and picturesque Berber villages dot the landscape, each turn offering a new vista to behold. We’ll arrive in Erfoud, a desert oasis and gateway to the vast Sahara.

Heading south by four-wheel drive, the rocky terrain will give way to the first glimpse of the Erg Chebbi dunes shimmering in the distance. Soon, we’ll find ourselves surrounded by warm, mysterious sands, each dune holding secrets only the desert knows.

Our destination: a luxurious tented camp, a haven nestled amidst the vastness. Settle in and enjoy a welcoming cup of mint tea as you begin your desert experience. Hop on your camel and cruise through the dazzling desert as the breathtaking sunset paints the dunes in vivid hues – a moment of pure magic in the boundless wilderness.

The day culminates in a truly enchanting evening. As darkness descends, the desert sky explodes with a million twinkling stars. A delicious dinner awaits, served under this canopy of celestial wonders.

Afterward, gather around the campfire for warmth and camaraderie, sharing stories and reflections of your journey while enjoying local entertainment. Tonight, the desert will be your home, and the boundless stars your companions.

Merzouga to Quarzazate

The famed “Road of 1000 Kasbahs” will unveil a breathtaking landscape dotted with ancient fortresses nestled amongst lush palm groves, including a stop at a captivating Ksar near Tinghirir. We will also pass through Skoura, a city set within a sprawling palm grove.

Hotel: Le Berbere Palace, Ouarzazate

Morocco gay tour - Ait Benhaddou

Day 7 - Sunday, October 11, 2026
Quarzazate to Marrakech via Ait Benhaddou
We’ll first stop at Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village renowned for its earthen clay architecture and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. It is as interesting as it is spectacular!

A delicious lunch at Ksar Ighanda awaits before we continue over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the region’s highest road pass.

Arriving in Marrakech, the “Pearl of the South,” we’ll discover an exciting city promising a whirlwind of experiences, from the busy souks to the tranquility of hidden gardens.

Day 8 - Monday, October 12, 2026
Marrakech
Pearl of the South, Jewel of the South, The Red City – these are just a few of the nicknames Marrakech has acquired over the years. The city will sweep you away with its buzzing energy. Day or night, the city teems with life.

Explore the labyrinthine souks, filled with colorful textiles, intricate handicrafts, and the scent of spices. Bargaining is part of the experience, so embrace the friendly banter! For a unique perspective, hire a horse-drawn carriage to take you around.

Your Morocco luxury tour won’t be complete without experiencing the spectacle of Jemaa El Fna, Marrakech’s bustling main square. It’s a real world-class menagerie! By day, snake charmers and their slithery companions captivate onlookers, while playful monkeys entertain with their antics.

At night, the square transforms into an exciting stage where local musicians play, people dance, and a sense of community fills the air. The aroma of exotic dishes from the food stalls will tempt you to try new flavors. If not, you can simply look around and politely decline the persistent sellers.

The iconic Koutoubia Mosque is also a site to behold. Walk around its gardens and enjoy mint tea with the locals. We will also visit the Dar El Bacha, a former palace transformed into a showcase of Moroccan artistry. Intricate tiles, painted ceilings, and carved cedarwood create a visual feast.
