Our cruise to the Canary Islands will take you to some of the most beautiful destinations in this archipelago. On Tenerife, take a trip to the top of Teide, Spain’s highest mountain, with views across the sapphire ocean and other distant islands. Explore Gran Canaria’s rugged, forested interior and the sand dunes of Maspalomas.
Welcome on board Costa Fortuna
Costa Fortuna is a tribute to ocean liners of the past. Symbolically built in the legendary shipyards of Genova Sestri ponente, it is the sister of Costa Magica. Its motto is "first class" for the refinement of the furnishings and the elegance of its atmosphere.
The public areas and restaurants are decorated with reproductions of advertising images of the roaring ‘20s and ‘30s. In the lobby there are models of 26 ships of the past that have been part of the Costa Cruises fleet.
Thirteen decks are dedicated to international ports. 4 pools, one with a retractable roof, hot tubs and slide, open decks, casino, disco, and theater; all of this classified Costa Fortuna as one of the first ships with new standards of quality and hospitality for cruise vacations, to sail in great comfort to any destination in all seasons.

Day 1 - Barcelona, Spain
In Barcelona, you’ll find stunning architecture, delectable cuisine, and vibrant cultural experiences at every turn. Get to know Barcelona’s many distinct neighborhoods, including the Old Town or Ciutat Vella, where you’ll find museums, cafes, and shopping. Venture to the Gothic Quarter, or Barri Gotic, and stroll through its narrow streets, where you’ll see the best of Barcelona’s Gothic architecture, mystical corridors, and old city cafes. Barcelona has a vibrant gay scene with numerous bars, cruise clubs, saunas, nightclubs and regular large-scale dance parties. Most of Barcelona’s gay bar & clubs are within the "Gaixample" district. This is a three-block area north of Gran Via Del Les Corts Catalanes between Urgil and Universitat metro stations.
Day 2 - Fun Day at Sea!
Immerse yourself in life on board: everything is designed to keep you entertained, relaxing and trying new things from morning to evening. For those who love to dance all night, the nightclub is the last rendezvous of the day. This is where the music is addictive, and dance music lovers can enjoy it and dance on the sea until dawn.
Day 3 - Cadiz, Spain
Cádiz, an old Spanish settlement in Andalusia, is characterised by a multitude of historical watchtowers. The port city rewards its visitors with excellent beaches, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, ancient cathedrals, and a fascinating old town. Cadiz is a gateway to spectacular Seville. Further afield, discover the dazzling White Villages of Andalusia high up in the hills.
Day 4 - Fun Day at Sea!
Keep fit even on vacation! Run along the jogging path and enjoy a breathtaking sea view. A creamy homemade ice cream or some delicious chocolate praline? No one can resist the delicacies of the Ice Cream Shop Amarillo. If you are sporty, you can keep in shape in the gym equipped with the latest equipment and large windows that overlook the sea.
Day 5 - Las Palmas, Gran Canaria
Gay Gran Canaria is the third largest island of the archipelago that makes up the Canary Islands, but holds almost half the population of the entire Canary Islands. Visitors who cruise to Gran Canaria can pretend to be locals for the day as they lounge on one of the island’s gorgeous gay beaches, visit the oceanfront sand dunes, and explore sundrenched towns and villages. In addition to all the sights, Gran Canaria is an excellent place to try some culinary delights as well.
Day 6 - San Sebastian, La Gomera
La Gomera is the Canary Islands stripped bare. Its beaches are quiet, its villages are sleepy and its countryside is fleeced with forests and dramatic mountain ridges. The catalogue of valleys and ravines make the island an obvious choice for walkers. But trekking isn’t the only activity on offer here. Scuba divers can swim through bath-warm waters as they search for tuna, parrotfish and trumpet fish.
Day 7 - Santa Cruz, La Palma
Cruise to La Palma reveal the wildest and most verdant of the Canary Islands. La Palma is sleepier than its neighbors and much less developed. The scenery here is sheer drama; mile upon mile of dense forest of laurel and Canarian pine clinging to plunging ravines, jagged peaks, and vast calderas. The island is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve thanks to its unique microclimate and ecosystem.
Day 8 - Santa Cruz, Tenerife
Cruise to Tenerife, Canary Islands is a ticket to sun-kissed relaxation and blissful pampering. Tenerife is the capital of the Canary Islands and offers a variety of things to do. When visiting Tenerife, cruise passengers can hit up the gorgeous sandy beaches or dine on delicious seafood. Visitors can even find snow and lava on this tropical paradise thanks to high elevation points and still active volcanoes. Tenerife is often alive with festivals, too, so check those out if you’re in port on a day there’s a traditional festival going on. Whilst not on the same scale as nearby Gran Canaria, Tenerife does have a number of gay venues. In southwest Tenerife, the gay bars are concentrated in the Playa de las Americas. In the northeast, you'll find gay venues in Puerto de la Cruz, La Laguna (the university town) and Santa Cruz (the capital city).
