Although the focus of our cruises is mainly on sightseeing and socializing, we do like to mix in a bit of frivolity as well. With that in mind, we’re planning a couple of themed parties during the cruise which may include a welcome party, a T-Dance, and quiz shows. If you should choose to participate, great; if you’d rather just be a voyeur, that is totally fine as well.

Day 1 - Dubrovnik, Croatia
Along the Adriatic Sea in southern Croatia lies Dubrovnik, a city well-known for its 16th-century Old Town. Filled with enchanting historic sites and containing a sense of stories past, the Croatian city has rightly earned its place among the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Delve into the fantastical side of the city as you tour the streets that have become part of cinematic history. Take a break from the historic for a relaxing gay beach day with a quick ferry ride to the nearby Lokrum Island. Delve deep into the local culture with wine and delectable platters of meat and cheese.
Day 2 - Kotor, Montenegro
Along the Adriatic coast of Montenegro lies the fortified town of Kotor, known for its medieval old town with winding streets and historic squares, as well as its many Romanesque churches and Maritime Museum. For unbelievable views of the Bay of Kotor, hike to the top of San Giovanni Fortress. Stroll through the many vendors, taking in the sounds, scents and colors as they call out their daily specials, produce and homemade goods. Swim the stunning azure waters of the bay with a boat tour to the Blue Cave.
Day 3 - Vis, Croatia
Nestled in the azure embrace of the Adriatic Sea lies Vis Island, a dreamy sanctuary that beckons explorers with its rustic charm and serene landscapes. This Croatian jewel is a culinary haven where the freshest catch of the day meets time-honored recipes, crafting delightful dishes that tantalize your taste buds. Indulge in local specialties such as pasticada and peka, paired perfectly with locally grown vegetables. Drink in the stunning landscapes as Hvar is covered in vast fields of ancient olive trees, lavender and vineyards. Within its bounds you will find the oldest town in the entirety of Croatia, Stari Grad, established by the ancient Greeks. For a picture-perfect seaside locale, head over to Dubovica Beach along the Adriatic Sea.
Day 4 - Sibenik, Croatia
You’ll know you’ve arrived somewhere special from the moment you stroll along the Sibenik promenade. Surrounded by epic views of the islands just off the coast, it may just take the throne as the best city in Dalmatia. For an even more impactful view, pedal the path that runs along St. Anthony’s Channel. At the end of the trail, reward yourself with a selfie at the UNESCO masterpiece of the Fortress of St. Nicholas. Fans of the television series Game of Thrones will recognize this as the city of Braavos. If you prefer real-life fantasy, journey to Krka National Park, where a wonderland of thundering waterfalls awaits you.
Day 5 - Rovinj, Croatia
Rovinj has become one of Croatia’s more visited destinations, and rightly so. With plenty of natural wonders, crystalline waters at stunning beaches and cobblestone paths leading to rich history, the city has earned a place on every traveler’s bucket list. The winding, medieval streets of Old Town mingled with modern-day boutiques and cafes creates a harmonious balance of past and present. Located along the Istrian Peninsula, it offers a breathtaking view of the ocean, especially from the Golden Cape. Crystal blue waters beckon and entice you to jump in for a refreshing swim or dive in for an exciting shipwreck excursion.
Day 6 - Piran, Slovenia
One of only three coastal towns in Slovenia, Piran offers a bustling harbor scene filled with seafood restaurants, a busy main square and enthralling medieval walls to explore. Tartini Square offers a superb perspective both from the ground and up high. Taking the trail from the Piran Promenade at the end of Tartini Square to Punta, you can watch fishing boats and private vessels pull into the dock. Treat your tastebuds to the fresh catch of the day as you enjoy the nautical atmosphere at Ladja Podlanica, a seafood restaurant located on the owners’ fishing boat.
Day 7 - Venice, Italy
The iconic image of Venice shows a city with no roads, only canals, because it’s built on over 100 small islands in a lagoon amid the Adriatic Sea. In the heart of the city close to Piazza San Marco you will find the Bridge of Sighs, an architectural jewel amid so many historical wonders. Venetian cuisine is renowned throughout Italy for its high-quality seafood. Positioned within a lagoon, local chefs and restaurants have the advantage of fresh-caught fish directly from the source and bringing it straight to their tables.
Day 8 - Venice, Italy
No excursions are scheduled today. After breakfast on board, take advantage of our included airport transfers or extend your stay in Venice on your own and we’ll provide a transfer to your independent accommodations.
Frequently Asked Questions
When should I schedule my flights?
Arrival: You should schedule your flights to arrive in Dubrovnik (DBV) on or before September 6, 2028. Embarkation will commence at approximately 3:00 PM. We recommend arriving the day before to avoid any airline delay issues.
Departures: You should schedule your flight from Venice (VCE) to depart any time on September 13, 2028.
The World Traveller iis set to arrive in Venice at 8:00 AM on September 12, 2028 and all guests must disembark the ship by 10:00 AM September 13, 2028.
What arrival and departure transfers are included?
Arrival transfers are provided for flight arrivals, from the Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) to the ship or to your independently booked pre-cruise hotel in Dubrovnik.
Departure transfers are provided from the ship to the Venice Airport (VCE) or to a Venice hotel after which no further transfers will be provided.
Are excursions included?
Yes, generally one excursion per port is included as part of the cruise fare.
Is there a dress code?
You are on vacation, so the last thing we want to impose is a dress code. Be as dressed up or down as you see fit as long as you’re comfortable. However, when dinning in the ship’s main dining room, long pants and a shirt or collared T shirt are required. Be sure to dress appropriately for changeable weather.
What weather can I expect from this trip?
In September, average temperatures in the Mediterranean can reach highs in the upper 70’s to mid-80’s, and lows in the mid to upper 60’s.
What are the passport and visa requirements?
While some countries in Europe only require 3 months validity on your passport, others require 6 months even if you are only transiting through that country. Therefore, we advise all guests to ensure their passports are valid for a minimum of 6 months after your last date of travel.
