The Ionian islands are situated along the west coast of Greece in the Ionian sea. The complex is comprised of the following islands Corfu, Paxoi, Lefkada, Ithaka, Cephalonia, Zakynthos and Kythira. These islands are famous for their excellent climate and renowned for their exquisite landscapes, their deep blue waters and the "kantades", folklore songs with a distinctive melody, which the locals have always sung. Because of the many beautiful and quiet bays, this itinerary is excelent for a gay sailing cruise.

Greece Gay Sailing Cruise From Corfu to Lefkas Itinerary

Day 1 - Corfu
Boarding in Corfu town after 5 pm. The skippers will welcome you with a welcome drink, and show you your cabin. We will have dinner in the old town with it's beautiful old Venetian houses.

Day 2 - Paloiokastrita, Corfu
Today we sail to Paloiokastrita, a nice spot on the east coast of Corfu. If you walk up to the old fortress you have great vieuw over the bay. We will stay overnight here.

Day 3 - Gaios, Paxoi
We leave Corfu Island today and sail to the small town Gaios, on the Island of Paxoi. Of course we will pay a visit to the famous blue caves of Paxoi, if you have not seen them the first week.

Day 4 - Preveza
A nice sailing day to Preveza, where we stay overnight or anchor of in a bay and have a BBQ on the beach.

Day 5 - Fiskardho, Cephalonia
Today we move on to the pituresque town Fiskardho on the Island of Cephalonia. Dinner in one of the local tavernas.

Day 6 - Nidri, Lefkas
A nice sail today to Nidri on the Island of Lefkas, On our way we have aonother lunch stop on one of the private Islands.

Day 7 - Lefkas
Our last day of sailing for this week brings us to the capital of Lefkas, Lefkas town.

Day 8 - Lefkas
After breakfast time to say goodbeye to our new friends or a day of for those guys who stay anohter week. Time to explore the Island and the beaches.
