Your Ship - Brand New Emerald Lumi
Setting sail in 2027, the brand new Emerald Lumi is specially designed to traverse the Seine River in style with tasteful and modern décor visible throughout the ship. The Reflections Restaurant on the Vista Deck is the center of our dining experience, where oversize windows offer excellent views of the passing French landscapes. For a more intimate experience, head to the contemporary Horizon Bar & Lounge, where our gay cruise entertainment will be enjoyed by all.
Reception
Your warm welcome onboard begins in the main reception area, the heart of our ship and main point of information while you are sailing. Here, your friendly crew will be happy to help you get the most from your time with us, whether before leaving for the day’s excursions or arranging for any special requests you may have. With tasteful and modern décor, the three-tiered atrium in the center of the reception area allows natural light to pour in and illuminate the interior.
Horizon Bar
Enjoy a cocktail at the Horizon bar with us while watching a spectacular sunset together. Located within the Horizon Lounge, you’ll find originality and innovation, with a new twist on the ol’ purveyors of gin and tonics and buckets of beer. This is the place where you’ll spend an enjoyable evening nursing a cocktail with great friends, old and new! Whether you’re in the mood for a mixed drink or glass of wine, we invite you to join us and enjoy one of best bars on the river with your fellow OUTbounders. Order your favorite festive holiday cocktail you’ll savor after a long day exploring the Christmas markets.
Horizon Lounge
The tastefully decorated Horizon Lounge, located at the front of the ship, was named for the superb views of the passing coastlines that guests will enjoy courtesy of the oversized windows. Intimate seating areas are peppered throughout the open floor plan, allowing you the choice of going all in with the group or enjoying a little private time between you and a smaller gathering of friends. The lounge also has a self-service beverage station with a machine that dispenses espresso, capuccino, mochaccino, hot chocolate, and hot water for a selection of teas... our favorite!
Sun Deck
The Sun Deck is much more than the place to savor a hot chocolate or specialty coffee. It’s also the perfect way to spend your afternoon enjoying a panoramic view of the magnificent rolling landscapes. The Sun Deck has a gorgeous outdoor living area and a huge canopy midship, perfect for OUTbounders who prefer a little cover as we sail along the river. Whether golf’s your game or you prefer a game of tic-tac-toe, lazy afternoons on the river are never boring with the games area and putting green.
Indoor Pool
The indoor pool is located aft on Horizon Deck. It’s surrounded by a glass-walled lounge area with chairs, tables, dressing rooms, and a bar with a self-service machine for coffee drinks and tea. The heated pool, complete with a retractable roof, is the perfect way to spend an afternoon or evening, soaking with friends while watching the incredible scenery of the Danube drift by.
Cinema
Some nights, the pool at the back of our ship is converted into a cinema. The transformation happens when the pool floor rises to deck level. After the floor has been mopped dry, crew members set up chairs and lower a large movie screen. Popcorn is available, and you can order drinks from the bar or grab a specialty coffee or tea from the self-service machine.
Wellness Area
Your space for relaxation and rejuvenation, the onboard Wellness Area provides everything from facial treatments to massages, delivered by a trained beauty therapist. Downstairs on Riviera Deck is the hairdresser, where you can get haircuts, head and neck massages, and other services. Be sure to book quickly at the front desk when you embark because availability is limited.
Onboard Fitness
If you stick to a daily fitness regime at home, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t keep it up on your holiday. The onboard gym has everything you need to work up a sweat on your travels, so you can justify one more delightful dish or extravagant cocktail. The gym has a workout bike, free weights and a treadmill. If the fitness center isn’t where you want to be, then take advantage of the ship’s track. The jogging track encircles the perimeter of the Sun Deck, so you can kill two birds with one stone... exercise and enjoy the view.
Terrace Cafe
An idyllic spot for breakfast and light lunches, the Terrace Café is a unique indoor/outdoor dining area located just forward of the Horizon Lounge. With a commanding position at the very front of the ship, inspiring views are guaranteed. This open-air bow seating and eating area has electric doors that make it easy to carry a drink or meal outside for a unique snack experience... snacks that are available throughout the day near the ship’s lounge at the end of the bar.
Reflections Restaurant
Get set for a gastronomic adventure in Reflections Restaurant, your go-to dining area for sumptuous local dishes expertly prepared by skilled chefs. Spacious and contemporary, with flexible seating options, this is your space to discover the local tastes of the season. Located on the Vista Deck, the restaurant comfortably seats all our travelers at tables which vary in size with a panoramic view. The atmosphere is casual but elegant. The selection and presentation of the food is outstanding, and you’ll find the quality of service is unmatched.

Day 1 - Paris, France
Welcome to Gay Paree, one of the most beautiful cities in the world that is somehow even more vibrant during the holiday season. After comfortably settling into your cabins, take some time to explore this fantastic city on your own, or just unwind with a cocktail and get to know your follow cruisers up in the lounge. Later, we’ll introduce our crew at a welcome reception before sitting down for our first dinner onboard. Tonight we’ll take a cruise on the Seine around the City of Lights as Paris comes alive after dark. We’ll sail overnight towards our first festive stop.
Day 2 - Vernon & Giverny, France
Today is a celebration of northern France’s natural beauty as you immerse yourself in the very landscapes that inspired Impressionist master Claude Monet. Vernon is a charming town with cobblestone streets reminiscent of the Middle Ages. The town was founded by the Viking Rollo in the 9th century, where an island in the Seine made for easy crossings. Ruins of its old medieval bridge still linger on the Seine’s right bank. The remains of La Château des Tourelles are the last surviving witness to that era. This evening, we’ll arrive in Rouen for an overnight stay.
Day 3 - Rouen, France
Today we’ll take a walking tour through the historic center of Rouen and its famous cathedral. Stretched along the Seine, Rouen is Normandy’s cultural, historical, and gastronomical capital. The exceptionally complex Notre-Dame Cathedral is renowned for the juxtaposition of all the Gothic periods... especially on the facade, which Monet painted time and again, reflecting its glory in different lights. We’ll then head to the market place where Joan of Arc was burned alive for heresy in 1431. Finally, we’ll visit the Gros-Horloge, or Great Clock... one of the most emblematic monuments in the city.
Day 4 - Normandy & Honfleur, France
The success of ‘D-Day’ was an important turning point in World War II, opening a crucial Western front. Normandy’s role in this extraordinary military operation makes it one of the most important regions in World War II history. Today, you’ll join a remarkable tour, focused on this highly significant event. Visit the key sites of the landings by the Allied forces and experience first-hand the Normandy beaches as well as the memorials and museum which honor the bravery of those involved and their ultimate sacrifice.
Day 5 - Honfleur, France
Today we’re visiting Honfleur, the cradle of Impressionism, located at the mouth of the Seine as it flows into the English Channel. Untouched by the passage of time, this small port has kept the landmarks of its rich past, making it today one of the most visited towns in France. You’ll marvel at the rows of narrow houses squeezed against each other. Honfleur is home to Saint Catherine’s Church, the largest wooden church in France. It was listed as a historical monument in 1879 and has been the subject of scrupulous research by many archaeologists and historians.
Day 6 - Les Andelys, France
Les Andelys is best known for its imposing castle overlooking the city, the Château Gaillard. In the afternoon, discover the heart of Normandy’s countryside with a visit to a traditional cider farm. On this tour you’ll learn how the region’s crisp, refreshing cider is crafted from locally-grown apples using age-old methods. Afterwards, enjoy a tasting of authentic local products that celebrate the renowned flavors of Normandy. We’ll finish our day with some free time in the local Christmas markets, taking in the festive sights, sounds and smells of this charming French town.
Day 7 - La Roche-Guyon, France
The picturesque village of La Roche-Guyon lies within the verdant Vexin Français Regional Nature Park, bound between the meandering Seine River and a striking wall of white chalk. This idyllic setting is home to the beguiling 12th-century Château de La Roche-Guyon, the village’s most famous landmark that captured the attention of poet Victor Hugo, impressionist Claude Monet and composer Joseph Kosma, among many others. The castle and its breathtaking surroundings still mesmerize all who visit it.
Day 8 - Paris, France
It’s our final day together in Gay Paree, so make the most of it! The center of gay Paris is the Marais, an old district in the 4th Arrondissement of Paris with lovely, narrow streets breathing centuries-old history. A good deal of gay bars, cafés and shops here, as well as plenty of eateries. The Marais is right in the heart of Paris where you’ll find plenty of activities and things to do, walking distance to some of Paris’ best museums and culture. The close-knit community of the Marais makes it a lively and happening place to explore both at night and during the day.
