Alltra Samaná by Wyndham

For our week together, Alltra Samaná by Wyndham becomes VACAYA Gay Beach Club: Samaná.

Located in Las Galeras on the Samaná Peninsula, this all-inclusive resort sits along Javo Beach La Playita, one of the area’s most beautiful stretches of sand. The resort has 404 non-smoking rooms, suites, and bungalows, each designed for easy Caribbean comfort, with garden or ocean views, private balcony or terrace options, stocked minibars, flat-screen HDTVs, free WiFi, and the kind of “I may never go home” energy that makes unpacking feel dangerous.

The resort is intimate enough to feel like ours and big enough to give you room to wander, mingle, disappear, reappear, and dramatically say, “Where have you been?” to someone you met 12 hours earlier.

During our takeover, Alltra Samaná transforms into a full Gay Beach Club, with VACAYA’s signature spaces, social programming, parties, entertainment, clothing optional moments, and V Team magic layered throughout the resort.

Alltra Samaná features a mix of included dining options. And because this is VACAYA, dinner is never just dinner. It’s where you meet the people you’ll dance with later. AZUL
Azul is the beach club’s casual buffet, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with local and international favorites. This is where you’ll eat most of your meals – an easy, breezy, “I need food right now and I don’t need to make a production out of it” home base.

COSECHA
Cosecha is the seaside snack bar for when leaving the beach feels offensive. Grab a bite, refuel, and get back to your regularly scheduled lounging. At night, Cosecha transforms into the coolest beachside buffet around.

UMI
Umi is your seaside spot for Asian favorites, sushi, teppanyaki, and that very specific vacation moment when someone says, “Should we go to Umi tonight?” and everyone immediately agrees. Reservations are required here, which means yes, this is the one tiny moment all week when you may have to make an actual plan. We believe in you.

SEA BREEZE CAFÉ
Sea Breeze Café is your 24×7 light-bite lifesaver, serving fruit, yogurt, freshly baked breads, pastries, sandwiches, and casual snacks whenever the mood hits. Need something before the beach? Kaa is your “meet me here” spot. Cocktails, conversation, pre-dinner flirting, post-dinner regrouping, and that one friend who says they’re only having one drink. Adorable.

SUGARCANE
Tropical, bright, and Caribbean to the core, Sugarcane is made for easy drinks, good energy, and casual chaos.

LAS OLAS BAR
By day, Las Olas is exactly what vacation is supposed to feel like. By late afternoon, it becomes the heartbeat of VACAYA Beach Club, home to our signature V-Dances, sunset grooves, and parties that’ll go right into the evening. Come for the view. Stay because the music got good.

NUDIE TOWN PALM BAR
Pool bar. Views. Cocktails. Wet hair. Big sunglasses. Big… ummmm. And a little too much confidence by 2pm. We support this. Because Palm Bar sits inside Nudie Town, clothing optional comfort is absolutely part of the vibe. But when you’re heading up to the bar, please throw on a towel or cover-up out of respect for the wonderful resort team taking care of us. Nudie Town may be wonderfully free, but manners are still required.

COCO BAR
Coco Bar brings relaxed, chill-out energy for those moments when you want the drink, the breeze, and the conversation without having to scream over the music.

CLUB LOUNGE
Club Lounge is the “I’m feeling a bit bougie” add-on you’ll have the chance to purchase shortly before our time at Beach Club. This exclusive retreat offers all-day cocktails, select beverages, and light hors d’oeuvres in a perfectly posh setting near the main beach.

BUILDING 1 – CENTER OF THE ACTION
Whether you want a Sunset View or Garden View Room, Building 1 puts you right in the center of the Beach Club energy. You’re close to the Front Desk, close to the arrival action, and just a couple minutes from the main pool. This is a great choice for Vacayans who want convenience, people-watching, easy meetups, and a room that makes the phrase “I’ll be there in two minutes” actually believable.

BUILDING 2 – BEST VALUE
Building 2 offers the least expensive rooms at the Beach Club, which makes it the move for value-focused Vacayans who’d rather spend their budget on flights, outfits, excursions, or whatever happened after someone said, “Let’s just have one more.” These rooms keep you close to the main pool and the beach, so you’re never far from the action, the water, or your next frozen drink.

BUILDING 3 – THE GOLDEN GIRLS BUNGALOWS
Picture it: Samaná, 2027. You and your besties are in your bungalow, the lanai is open, someone is making drinks, someone is giving very unsolicited romance advice, and someone else has already changed outfits three times before dinner. Welcome to our Golden Girls Bungalows! Building 3 offers more space than our standard rooms and a fabulous lanai made for pre-gaming, post-pooling, gossiping, laughing, lounging, and living your best Blanche, Dorothy, Rose, or Sophia life. Cheesecake not included. But honestly, we’ll see what we can do.

BUILDING 4 – POOL-TO-PLATE-TO-GYM PERFECTION
Building 4 puts you close to all the good stuff: the main pool, Azul (the Beach Club’s main restaurant), and the Fitness Center. That means coffee, breakfast, lunch, drinks, pool time, a quick workout if ambition briefly strikes, and the all-important “I need to go lie down for 20 minutes” reset are all wonderfully easy. This is a prime location for Vacayans who want to stay near the daytime heartbeat of the Beach Club without overthinking logistics.

BUILDINGS 5, 6, 7, & 8 – NUDIE TOWN
Welcome to Nudie Town, our clothing optional gay village within VACAYA Beach Club. This is where confidence, sunscreen, consent, and good manners all matter equally. Buildings 5, 6, 7, and 8 create our clothing optional neighborhood, with easy access to the clothing optional pool and VACAYA’s famed Red Light District.

BUILDINGS 5 & 6 – DOWNTOWN NUDIE TOWN
Buildings 5 and 6 are Downtown Nudie Town. These premium rooms offer direct access to our clothing optional pool and the Red Light District, making them the best choice for Vacayans who want to be in the center of the clothing optional action. Roll out of bed. Apply sunscreen. Make choices.

BUILDINGS 7 & 8 – THE NUDIE TOWN SUBURBS
Buildings 7 and 8 are the Nudie Town Suburbs. You’re still part of the clothing optional village, but with a slightly reduced price and a quick 1-2-minute walk to the clothing optional pool. Think of it as close enough to the fun, but far enough away to say, “I live in a quieter neighborhood.” We believe in balance.
