the wind. In an off-road vehicle, we ride through Chitwan National Park and in Pokhara, at
picturesque Lake Phewa, the ice capped Himalayas glisten in the sun on the horizon.

Day 1
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu (flights not included), you’ll be transferred to your hotel where you can freshen up. In the evening, you’ll have a delicious welcome dinner at a local restaurant. You’ll love sampling delicious Nepalese cuisine while watching local dancers put on mesmerising performances. Ramro saanga kaanus – enjoy your meal!

Day 2
At Durbar Square, the main square in Kathmandu, you’ll marvel at the royal palace, the pagodas, and the temples with their exquisite woodcarving. Later, you’ll climb up countless steps to the stupa at Swayambunath where from the golden roof, Buddha’s eyes gaze out in all directions. In the afternoon, you’ll explore Boudhanath, the most important Buddhist temple in Nepal. At the monastery, a Tibetan lama will welcome you with a traditional khata, a welcome scarf made of white silk. You’ll be transported to another world as monks softly sing their chants to the distant sound of traditional instruments. After this special experience, you’ll cross over into the Hindu world on a visit to Pashupatinath, one of the most important Hindu temples in the country.

Day 3 - 4
The six-hour drive along the bumpy roads to Chitwan National Park are a good warm-up for what awaits you over the next two days on your gay adventure tour. Experienced rangers will guide you through the lush jungle of the former royal hunting grounds surrounding the lodge in open off-road vehicles, on foot, and by canoe. You’ll have the unique opportunity to witness fascinating wildlife first-hand including over 400 different species of birds, antelopes, crocodiles, and impressive schools of fish. With a bit of luck, you might even see a tiger! Later, you’ll get to know the intriguing culture of the Tharu people during a visit to their village where you’ll see a traditional dance performance in the evening. At the lodge you’ll enjoy two days of delicious full board.

Day 5
Along the shores of picturesque Lake Phewa, you’ll make your way towards Pokhara – but not before you make a stop at another unforgettable location. Today’s destination is the mountain village of Sarangkot. Due to its location at an altitude of 1,592 metres above the town and the lake, you can enjoy the unparalleled panorama of the main Himalayan ridge from here on a clear day. You won’t be able to take your eyes off the impressive sight of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna II, and the sacred mountain Machhapuchhare, which is regarded as the seat of the “Buddha of Boundless Light”.

Day 6
When the alarm clock rings in the early morning, and the sunrise bathes the white mountain peaks in soft red light, you’ll have the absolute best seat in the house at the hotel. After a hearty breakfast, you’ll drive down to Pokhara. The bustling city welcomes you with its laid-back traveller’s atmosphere. On a fun city tour, your guide will show you countless temples such as Bindabasini Mandir, which is one of the oldest temples in the region. There’s so much waiting to be explored on your gay holiday, so spend the afternoon at your leisure.

Day 7
Today, your guide takes you on a tour to the famous World Peace Stupa. It’s a one-hour walk (easy) to the massive white pagoda on a ridge above the lake.> Once you’ve learned about this impressive structure, you’ll follow a steep trail (one-hour walk, medium difficulty) down to the lake. From there, you’ll take a boat ride back to Pokhara.

Day 8
It’s time to embark on the long journey back to the Kathmandu Valley. Along the way, you’ll catch a glimpse of the city’s countless offshoots, which stretch across the entire valley. In the late afternoon, you’ll reach your last accommodation of your amazing gay tour in Bhaktapur.

Day 9
If visibility is good, you’ll drive to Dhulikhel where on a clear day, you have a phenomenal view of the giant Himalaya mountains in the background. If you’re lucky, you might even spot Mount Everest in the distance. In the afternoon, you’ll explore Bhaktapur, which many consider to be the most beautiful of the royal cities in the Kathmandu Valley. After receiving considerable damage in the 2015 earthquake, the richly decorated palaces and temples from the 9th century have since been restored and once again shine in all their glory. What a way to end a fantastic gay holiday!

Day 10
Unfortunately, the time has come to say goodbye to Nepal. In the course of the day, you’ll be transferred to the Kathmandu airport for your flight home (flights not included).
