Thailand, Cambodia & Vietnam Gay Tour Itinerary

Day 1
A first taste of Asia in Bangkok!
You’ll arrive in Bangkok in the morning, where your guide will be waiting for you at the airport.

A short transfer brings you to your centrally located hotel – calm and surprisingly quiet. Step outside and the contrast hits immediately. Traffic, heat, movement – the rhythm of the streets pulls you in.

In the early evening, you’ll head to Chinatown by underground.

Temples glow between neon lights, tuk-tuks rattle past, and the scent of street food hangs in the air.

Dinner is as local as it gets – spicy, out in the open, seated on plastic chairs, surrounded by the energy of the city.

Meals Included: Dinner
Accommodation: Nouvo City Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, 4*

Bangkok Thailand gay tour

Day 2
Bangkok in motion
You’ll start the day above the city, taking the Skytrain across Bangkok to the Chao Phraya, the river that cuts through it all.

From here, you’ll continue by boat, moving past temples, houses and daily life unfolding along the water, before reaching the Royal Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.

Later, your guide will take you to places that feel more local – a temple popular with young Thais and a street market where everything happens at once.

At dusk, you’ll hop on your bike and follow your guide through backstreets and narrow alleys, crossing the river and riding past temples and night markets. Neon lights flicker and traffic thickens. You ride through it all until you reach the Wat Arun, lit up against the dark.

Meals Included: Breakfast
Accommodation: Nouvo City Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, 4*

Angkor gay tour

Day 3
From Bangkok, Thailand to Siem Reap, Cambodia
A new day, a new country. You’ll leave Bangkok behind and head to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap.

The city feels smaller, more relaxed – a natural transition after the intensity of Bangkok.

This is where your journey through Cambodia begins, and where you continue your gay group tour alongside a group of like-minded guys.

You’ll have time for a first look around, wandering through the streets, getting a feel for the atmosphere and settling in. Cafés, markets and quiet corners give you a first impression of everyday life here – all leading up to what lies ahead. Because from here, the temples of Angkor Wat are within reach.

Meals Included: Breakfast
Accommodation: Hari Residence and Spa, Siem Reap, Cambodia, 4*

Angkor Wat gay tour

Day 4
Angkor by bike
You’ll head out early, leaving Siem Reap behind as you cycle towards the temples of Angkor Wat. Monkeys swing through the trees above while you ride from one temple to the next.

You’ll explore the complex by bike, stopping to climb worn steps, pass through narrow corridors and stand beneath towering walls shaped by centuries.

At Ta Prohm, roots wrap themselves around the ruins, holding and breaking the stone at the same time – nature and architecture locked together.

After a jungle picnic in the shade, you continue to the Bayon Temple, where massive carved faces look out in every direction. Calm, distant, almost watching.

By the time you return, you’ve experienced Angkor from the inside – not just from a distance.

Our tip for the evening: a culinary stroll through one of the night markets – perfect for those who love to try new things!

Meals Included: Breakfast & Lunch
Accommodation: Hari Residence and Spa, Siem Reap, Cambodia, 4*

Angkor, Cambodia gay tour

Day 5
Remote temples
Today takes you further out, to temples that see fewer visitors but leave a strong impression.

As part of your gay group tour through Cambodia, you’ll visit Banteay Srei and Beng Mealea, both part of the wider Angkor region – and despite their UNESCO World Heritage status, far less crowded than the main sites.

Banteay Srei is smaller, more intricate – finely carved stone that feels almost delicate compared to the monumental temples of the previous day.

Beng Mealea is different. Partially reclaimed by the jungle, with collapsed walls and uneven pathways, it feels wilder and less defined.

It’s quieter here. Fewer people, less spectacle, more stillness – a different side of Angkor.

Meals Included: Breakfast & Lunch
Accommodation: Hari Residence and Spa, Siem Reap, Cambodia, 4*

Phnom Penh, Cambodia gay tour

Day 6
Between tradition and city life
You’ll leave Siem Reap after breakfast and travel by road towards the capital.

The journey takes you through the Cambodian countryside, with a stop in Kampong Thom and at the historic bridge of Kompong Kdei.

By the afternoon, you’ll arrive in Phnom Penh. Tradition and everyday life sit side by side here.

You’ll start with a walk through the market hall, taking in the colours, the movement and the sounds, before heading to Wat Phnom, the spiritual centre of the city. Offerings are part of the ritual here – folded lotus flowers and a moment to pause.

In the evening, you’ll head to Sisowath Quay, where the city opens up along the river. Bars and cafés line the waterfront, and this part of your gay holiday slows down – a drink in hand, the Mekong in front of you, the city moving around you.

Meals Included: Breakfast
Accommodation: Anik Palace Hotel, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, 4*

Mekong gay cruise

Day 7
Along the Mekong
You’ll start the day in Phnom Penh, where contrasts shape the city – busy streets, quiet temples, everyday life unfolding side by side.

Then it’s down to the river. From here, you’ll board an express boat and travel along the Mekong, leaving the city behind. As you move along the water, traffic noise fades, villages pass by, and life along the river takes over.

After a few hours, you’ll cross into Vietnam and arrive in Chau Doc, where your Vietnamese guide will be waiting.

This is where the next part of your gay adventure begins – a new country and a fresh perspective.

From the pier, you’ll head straight to your hotel, arriving in a place that already feels calmer.

Meals Included: Breakfast
Accommodation: Chau Pho Hotel, Chau Doc, Vietnam, 3*

Mekong Delta market

Day 8
Into the Mekong Delta
You’ll start the day in Chau Doc, a town shaped by the river. Fish farms, boats, small silk workshops – life here is closely tied to the water.

From here, you’ll continue deeper into the Mekong Delta, heading towards Can Tho, known for its floating markets.

Along the way, you’ll see how daily life unfolds in this part of Vietnam – on the water, between boats, markets and riverside homes.

Arriving in Can Tho, you’ll settle into the rhythm of the delta. This part of your gay holiday feels quieter – a clear contrast to the cities before.

Meals Included: Breakfast
Accommodation: Charmant Suites a Boutique Hotel, Can Tho, Vietnam, 4*

Saigon Vietnam gay tour

Day 9
From river life to city lights
You’ll start early and head straight out onto the Mekong.

Boats gather, engines hum, and the Cai Rang floating market comes into view – a dense, moving network of traders, goods and daily life. You’ll move right through it, close enough to see how everything works – fruit changing hands, deals being made, voices carrying across the water.

Later, you’ll leave the delta behind and continue to Saigon, still officially known as Ho Chi Minh City, but rarely called that by the people who live here.

On arrival, your guide will take you straight into the city. You’ll visit Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Reunification Palace and Cholon, the city’s Chinatown.

In the evening, your gay adventure shifts into a different gear. A bar, a drink, and the endless lights of Saigon stretching out in front of you.

Meals Included: Breakfast
Accommodation: Equatorial Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, 5*

Cu Chi tunnels gay tour

Day 10
Beneath the surface
You’ll leave Saigon behind and head out to the Cu Chi tunnels, a network that once served as a refuge and base during the Vietnam War.

On site, you’ll get a sense of how it worked – narrow passages, hidden entrances, a system built to disappear into the ground.

A former Vietcong will guide you through the complex, explaining how life was organised here. In some sections, the tunnels have been widened, but it still takes effort to move through them. You’ll get down on all fours, making your way through the low, enclosed passages. It’s a different kind of experience – physical, close, and very real.

Later, you’ll return to Saigon, with time to unwind after a day that stays with you.

Meals Included: Breakfast
Accommodation: Equatorial Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, 5*

Phan Thiet gay holidays

Days 11 & 12
Beach, dunes and open space
You’ll leave Saigon behind and head to the coast.

In Phan Thiet, the landscape opens up – long stretches of sand, sea air, and more room to unwind.

Some head out by bike or moped, exploring the coastline. Others make their way to the Fairy Stream, walking barefoot through shallow water, red sandstone formations rising on either side.

If you’re after something more active, the nearby dunes offer the perfect setting. Sandboarding, wide open views, the sea just beyond – it’s a different kind of landscape.

Phan Thiet is also known for kitesurfing and windsurfing. You can take to the water yourself or watch the pros cut across the waves.

This part of your gay holiday is all about choice – staying active, switching off, or finding your own balance somewhere in between.

Meals Included: Breakfast
Accommodation: Pandanus Resort, Phan Thiet, Vietnam, 4*

Phan Thiet Vietnam gay holidays

Day 13
Departure
You’ll spend your final hours in Phan Thiet at your own pace before heading to the airport for your onward journey (transfer included).

Your gay holiday through Southeast Asia comes to an end here – from Bangkok to Angkor, along the Mekong and out to the Vietnamese coast.

Enjoy a few last hours by the sea before heading home.

Why Southeast Asia?

• The magic lies in the balance. This journey brings together three Southeast Asian countries that couldn’t feel more different – yet fit together effortlessly. From the energy of Bangkok to the timeless atmosphere of Angkor Wat, from the waterways of the Mekong Delta to the laid-back rhythm of Vietnam’s southern coast. Culture, nature and everyday life blend into a travel experience that never feels one-dimensional.

Food runs through the entire journey – fresh, bold and endlessly varied. Whether it’s street food in Thailand, Khmer cuisine in Cambodia or the flavours of Vietnam, every day brings something new to the table. Add to that the warmth of the people you meet along the way, and the journey quickly becomes something you experience with all your senses.

Best time to visit is January and February, which fall within the dry season across much of Southeast Asia, bringing plenty of sunshine and consistently warm temperatures of around 30°C. Conditions are ideal for exploring cities and temples, while coastal regions such as southern Vietnam offer good conditions for beach time, with generally low rainfall throughout.
