You’ll love the contemporary, inventive Italian cuisine at Aqualina, featuring some of Italy’s most famous dishes. Starters include beef tenderloin Carpaccio with orange oil, lobster ravioli, and seared tuna wrapped in veal, followed by second courses such as sweet pea and fennel soup or delicious salads of watermelon and tomato or arugula and radicchio with prosciutto chips. Main courses include forest mushroom risotto, a perfectly grilled veal chop, a Venetian seafood platter or delicate dover sole. Save room for Azamara’s famous desserts like Masala custard, lemon soufflé, tiramisu and chocolate torte.

Discoveries Bar is also a great gathering spot for drinks before or after dinner.

Day 1 - Venice, Italy
Queen of The Adriatic
A mecca for hopeless romantics, Venice is also known as The Floating City, City of Bridges, and City of Masks. This breathtaking port attracts roughly 22 million visitors a year, and you can quickly see why it is a unique city, unlike any other.
To truly discover its essence, take a stroll with your partner and lose yourselves in the cobblestone streets, alleys, and bridges. Experience seduction in every sense of the word by venturing to St. Mark’s Square and the Basilica, or by taking a gondola ride along the Grand Canal.
Day 2 - Sibenik, Croatia
The Croatian City of Culture
Located just 55 miles north of Split, the city of Šibenik is where the River Krka meets the Adriatic. This city is known for its diversity of international influences, particularly evident in the old part of town, with its many churches, palaces, and Dalmatian houses, as well in the city’s stone walls and four fortresses. Šibenik is a major wine producing region, so be sure to take time to explore it.
Day 3 - Dubrovnik, Croatia
The Pearl of The Adriatic
George Bernard Shaw once said: “Those who seek paradise on Earth should come to Dubrovnik to find it.” And indeed, paradise can be found behind the massive stone walls that protect winding streets, charming squares, and red-roofed buildings dating back to the 7th century.
To discover why this city has been deemed the pearl of the Adriatic, walk along the walls themselves to capture wow-worthy photos while enjoying the backdrops of the popular hit series Game of Thrones.
Day 4 - Kotor, Montenegro
Don’t be surprised if you and your partner leave a piece of your heart in Kotor. The entire city is surrounded by stone, both in the imposing Mount Saint John and in the city’s towering ancient walls, creating a cozy feeling of protection when you walk the cobblestone streets. Speaking of the streets, they are in a maze-like arrangement; be prepared to take a wrong turn or two, but all lead you back to the city’s main entrance marked by the 16th century Sea Gate.
If you are up for a challenge, take a hike to the top of the upper town walls that stand nearly 3 miles above the city. You will be rewarded with a spectacular view of the entire city and bay.
Day 5 - Fun Day at Sea!

Day 6 - Amalfi, Italy
The Land of Limoncello
There’s a reason they named it one of the most stunning coastlines in the world. In Amalfi, “La Vita e Bella”. It’s also one of the largest towns in the region, so take your time to explore it.
Rub shoulders with the Italian elite as you walk the pedestrian streets, stopping into shops and galleries. Drop into a bar and order the drink the region is best known for: limoncello. When you get it, make sure that it has been chilled. Limoncello, like revenge, is best served cold!
Day 7 - Sorrento, Italy
Gateway of Capri
If you genuinely want to explore Sorrento, you’re going to have to travel vertically. Most of the town is set up on the cliffs, so to get to the top, you can hop on a minibus, take the lift, or go on a short but steep hike.
Looking out from Sorrento, in the Gulf of Naples, is the isle of Capri. Well known for its sparkling Blue Grotto, it’s the playground of the rich and famous, and easily reached via a short hydrofoil. The island is divided into two main parts, Capri and Anacapri. With designer stores lining the streets, Capri is full of Italian luxury, while Anacapri is slightly more down-to-earth. Get ready to see what jaw-droppingly gorgeous views await you.
Day 8 - Rome, Italy
The Eternal City
Whether you daydream about fighting with gladiators in the Coliseum or debating with togaed senators in the Forum, that you toss a coin in the fabled Trevi fountain, or that you are awestruck by the magnificence of St. Peter’s Basilica and Michelangelo’s masterpieces, Rome has something special to offer all couples, living up to its sobriquet as the Eternal City.

• For the comfort of all guests, we ask that you use appropriate attire in all restaurants and other public areas that are not clearly marked as clothing optional.
• Keeping the identity of our guests private is extremely important to us. For this reason, taking photos or videos in any of our ship’s clothing-optional areas (the pool on deck 9 and the tanning areas on decks 10 and 11) or in the Playroom is strictly prohibited. Taking photos is permitted in all other areas, just as long as you respect the other guests.
• Our Playroom has been designed for sexual & erotic pleasure. We ask that you use this couples-only area to fulfill your intimate desires.
• Please treat all guests with utmost respect and remember the Golden Rule: ‘NO’ means ‘NO’.
• Balance is important, some like to rest while others party, after midnight your fellow guests would appreciate it if noise levels are kept to a minimum in our ships corridors.
• We have created an open-minded ambiance aboard our Desire Cruise, however drug use will not be tolerated.
• Neither Desire Cruises nor Azamara Club Cruises will be held responsible for items left outside your safety deposit box. Please be sure to place valuable items in the safe.

What clothing-optional areas will be offered onboard?
For your onboard enjoyment, the pool deck and sun deck are clothing-optional areas. Just a friendly reminder: due to local laws and authorities, our staff will give orders for all guests to be clothed as we approach the different ports of call.
Is there a Playroom etiquette?
The Desire Collection is firmly committed to maintaining our unique, couples-only atmosphere, for this reason only couples will be allowed in the Playroom. (No exceptions)
Is sex permitted in onboard public areas?
The only onboard public area where sex is permitted is the Playroom, sex will not be permitted in any other public area.
Is photography allowed onboard?
Due to the nature of this cruise, and the fact that our guests’ privacy is of utmost importance to us, there is no photography allowed in clothing-optional areas.
What is the minimum age requirement for Desire Cruises?
Although the average age range of our guests is of 35-50 years of age, the minimum age to board with us is 21.
